NATALIE’S POV
I gazed at Mason, his strong jawline and piercing eyes still making my heart skip a beat.
I met Mason, at a charity gala, of all places. His humility and kindness stood out amiss with the pretentious crowd. We bonded over our shared passion for art, and I was captivated by his genuine smile.
Mason, was an aspiring artist. He had a way of seeing the world that I had never experienced before. His simplicity and authenticity drew me in, and I knew I wanted to be with him.
Fast-forward to two years later, and we were still waxing strong. Mason had become my rock, my confidant, and my best friend.
As I looked at him now, lounging on our couch, his eyebrows furrowed in curiosity.
"You’ve been staring at me for a while now." "What’s on your mind?" He asked and I laughed, playing coy.
“Staring at you? “No way please” I added, feigning ignorance.
“Hmmm, or do you want some sugar? He asked, pulling me close, his hands wrapping around my waist.
I giggled, trying to unwrap his hands.
“Stop it! As he continued to tease me with gentle kisses on my neck.
“Then, tell me what’s on your mind?” He pulled back, grinning.
Okay fine…. I started, "Just thinking about the party next weekend," I replied, smiling.
“You’re really excited about this party, aren’t you? He teased.
It was my cousin, Rachel’s 30th birthday party, and it was the perfect opportunity to introduce Mason to more of my family. I wanted him to feel comfortable around them, to let them know that he was a part of my life now.
I nodded, feeling a flutter in my chest. "I want you to meet more of my family. We’re a complicated big family, but they mean well and would be excited to meet you, babe.
Mason’s expression turned serious.
“I’ll be there for you, Nat, but are you sure they’ll accept me?”
I took his hand, reassuring him. “They’ll love you, you’re an amazing person, and you’re my boyfriend too.”
My fingers traced his overly flexed muscles on his muscular arms, feeling the tension ease. “I love you so much babes” I whispered.
His face softened, his voice filled with emotions. “And I love you even more” he replied, enveloping me in a warm, tender hug.
___________
Saturday morning dawned, so bright and sunny, matching my enthusiasm for Rachel’s party tonight and my growing anxiety about introducing Mason to my family.
I spent the morning in the saloon, ensuring that my hair and makeup were perfect. Next, I headed to my designer for the final dress fittings.
The emerald green gown accentuated my curves, adding a highlight. I couldn’t wait for Mason to see me in it.
He seemed so uneasy during breakfast this morning and I couldn’t help but inquire what was wrong. He admitted that he was nervous, and I could only assure him not to be.
I mean, have you seen Mason? They’ll be charmed. Considering how much I’ve bragged about him to my cousins.
"Hey, we should start getting ready, don’t you think?" I snuggled closer to him on the couch. It was past seven pm.
He wrapped his hands around me, pulling me in. “What’s the dress code again?”
“Formal attire” I replied. “Rachel’s going all out for her 30th”
He nodded. “Alright, I need something that will make me look decent next to you.”
I laughed, “you always look handsome to me, I have picked something for you already”, I added, moving closer to his closet, revealing a navy blue suit.
He smiled. “You always know how to make me look sharp.”
"That’s not all, we’re going to go with this burgundy tie". Now come on, cheer up, I’m really excited to see you on this. I added, hurriedly, leaving him to get prepared too.
I had said so much about Mason to my cousins already, it was about time they saw him, and I was really excited about the opportunity.
He had met my dad one time, in a very embarrassing way. We were right outside the house, his hands wrapped around my waist. I could see the visible shock on his face when the car drove towards us, revealing my dad.
It was a really fun day. I introduced him anyway. My dad is chill and would basically do anything for me. I chuckled, reminiscing about the incident.
MASON'S POV"What do you want?" my voice betrayed my caution. Her lips curled into a seductive smile, sending a shiver down my spine. "A taste... a massage bookings with you," she purred, her tone playful yet laced with undertones.I hesitated, unsure of what to make of her request."Done, I'll come," I agreed, trying to sound casual despite my growing unease. As I turned to leave, Sophia's voice stopped me dead in my tracks. "Not so fast."She held out her phone, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Put your number in."I typed in my number, feeling a sense of unease. What had I just gotten myself into? With the phone returned to Sophia, I hastily exited the room, my mind wandering.I feel like I'd just made a deal with a siren?I reshuffled my shirts and hastened towards Natalie’s voice.“What took you so long?” She inquired, her voice laced with a hint of playful annoyance.“ I’m sorry baby, I kind of...umm lost my way”Natalie’s expression softened. “It’s okay, come on, Mom’s been as
I trembled with the new sensation crumbling before me. He hadn’t even touched me yet, but my body responded.I closed my eyes immediately, struggling to regain composure. My heart pounded like it would explode.I struggled to cover my mouth, to stifle my moans with my hands until I yelled in surprise. Did he just pinch me right there?A painful sensation indeed. Before I could process the shock, his face disappeared between my legs. A single deliberate lick sent shivers across my body. I cursed out loudly, “Damn!” as he expertly used two of his fingers to perfectly part my swollen lips, focusing on the Popsicle between them.He gave me another lick, and I shivered again, this time suppressing my moans. I tilted my head to the side. What was he doing to my body and soul?“You taste so, so good” he moaned as he settled down, taking in all of my popsicles and sucking deep at a relentless pace.Panic set in as I struggled to gain control.I reached for his head in an attempt to pull him a
CHRISTIANA POVI know I wanted to see Mason again, but not like this. The betrayal silently hit me as I hurriedly made my way to exit the ballroom. I hope that he followed me.I quickened my steps and swiftly entered into one of the rooms. Hiding by the door. Hoping that he was going to show up.Thank Goodness, I heard footsteps coming in. I peered and it was him. Mason. When he got closer to where I stood, I yanked him over into the dimly lit room I was hiding.“Mason” I called. Shock was written all over his face.We stood face to face in silence, our eyes locked in surprise.“What are you doing here?” I demanded, trying to process the unexpected encounter.“You’re Natalie’s cousin? He asked, almost at the same time as me.Our questions hung in the air. My eyes flashed with anger. “What! Does it matter?” I inquired.“It matters” he snatched my arms. “Natalie’s my girlfriend and you’re not going to ever mention our encounter to her.”I yanked my arms away. ”And if I do? She’d be pleas
MASON’S POVI stood in front of the mirror, adjusting my tie for what felt like the hundredth time. Natalie helped me pick out this navy blue suit, and I have to admit, I looked good in it."Hey, handsome," Natalie called out from the bedroom. "Ready to make a statement?"I turned to see her emerging in that stunning emerald green gown. My jaw dropped."You look breathtaking, Nat."She smiled, her eyes sparkling. "You don't look so bad yourself."We exchanged a tender kiss, and I felt my nerves settle. Tonight was about supporting Natalie and meeting her family and I needed to do my best.As we headed downstairs, Natalie's phone buzzed in my pocket with a text from Rachel:"See you soon! Can't wait to meet Mason."What has she been telling her?Her hand found mine, her grip tightening. "You're going to do great," she whispered.I took a deep breath, focusing on her reassurance._Party Arrival_We arrived at the luxurious venue, and the valet took our car.As we stepped into the grand

CHRISTIANA’S POVI settled into his arms, savoring the warmth and comfort it gave me.“Thank you for arranging that encounter with Mason” I said, my voice laced with appreciation.“I wanted to spice things between us, my dear, nothing more,” he added.I nodded in understanding, that was very thoughtful of him. If I were to be very honest,“You could have joined us, you know, Mason was..…satisfactorily” I teased, choosing my words carefully.Chief Gavin's gaze intensified "I’m glad you enjoyed yourself". But let’s keep things in perspective. "He was a one-time distraction, and nothing more."I nodded hastily, not wanting to get him pissed, aware of the boundaries.“Of course, baby. I know exactly what this is, I whispered, brushing my lips against his.Just then, my phone rang. It was Sophia, my best friend.“I promised her I’d be at her place tonight.” I explained, with pleading eyes.“I’ve missed her and I really need her company right now.”With a pleading face, I looked over at my
