John's POV

I certainly didn't want to lose my life, so I was very careful.

A gun was next to my head, and if I made any careless move, he was going to pull the trigger.

So silly of me not to have realised that Marshal could do something like this.

“Stay back. I will shoot” He shot the gun upwards, threatening them that he had the grit to kill me.

Fortunately for me, I had quite a sound knowledge about combat. Disarming him was easy.

First, a hit from my elbow to the right side of his stomach. That hit affected his liver.

I quickly used that advantage to disarm him of the gun.

Poor Marshal was now at my mercy. He went on his knees, as he groaned from the pain of that hit.

“I am sorry. I will bring your money now” He pleaded. I wasn't in the mood to just let somebody who tried to kill me like that.

“You're no longer in a position to set terms here. I am going to tell you what to do” I said firmly.

My boys went ahead and carried him back to the chair he was tied to earlier.
