Chapter Four

As Andrew thought about it. His own twin brother wasn't even close to him as his driver. In fact Andrew didn't even know where Micheal was or in what condition. Neither did he really care. His family was just there for blood relation and business related business otherwise they didn't need each other.

"That's so sad." Clive said suddenly. "Family is important."

"I have other important people in my life." Andrew said with a smile. "I have you, my assistants and my right hand man. They're close to me. Don't worry I have a family. Just not the traditional kind."

"Well that's true I guess." Clive said with a sigh. "I'm glad I'm part of your family. In the non traditional sense."

"Yeah me too." Andrew said with a chuckle. "Because you really make my life much easier. And you have always been a little odd but that's okay I guess."

"Hey I'm not that odd." Clive said sounding a little affronted. "Or at least not that much more odd than you."

"Okay that's a lie." Andrew said with a roll of his eyes. "You're very odd. But in a good way."

"Well I'll take that as a compliment." Clive said grinning. "You're not exactly normal either you know. Your oddness just manifests in a different way."

"I know." Andrew said with a laugh. "We're both different but it works out."

After a while of driving they finally made it to their destination. Andrew's mansion. And to no surprise to Andrew his house was there where it was, where it always had been.

Andrew rolled his eyes at his driver who had his mouth opened as he looked at the house. "Don't act too much I might send to acting school."

Clive got out of the car at the same time as Andrew. "I swear I heard that maid correctly! She must have lied to me!"

"Or maybe you were just dreaming." Andrew said grinning as he looked at his home. He loved his home. It was just the right amount of big without being excessive. "Maybe you were just tired?"

"I'm a great driver and I don't get tired." Clive said shaking his head. "I know what I heard. I need to ask this lady about it."

"No you really don't need to do that." Andrew said putting his hand on Clive's shoulder. "She'll be so freaked out and you'll be the weirdo questioning her about the house being gone. Don't cause trouble Clive. " Andrew looked at his watch for time.

" Work?" Clive asked him.

"Nope." Andrew answered immediately. "No work for me. For thirty days straight."

Clive was surprised about this. " And what's the occasion sir?"

"Simple." Andrew said as he led the way inside his house. "My wedding. I'm taking time off."

Clive paused a moment as if processing the words that he just heard. "Your wedding?" He asked in shock. " As in you getting married?"

"Yes." Andrew answered as he put down his bag. "As in me getting married."

"To who?" Clive asked.

"I think you'll be pleasantly surprised." Andrew said as he went to sit down in the living room. "Would you like to meet her?"

Clive had never seen Andrew with a woman before and certainly not to talk of a fiance. So this was news to him. "Are you sure you're not the one dreaming sir?"

"No." Andrew made himself comfortable on his sofa. " I'm gonna find a wife, a family for myself for this Christmas. My days of being lonely Andrew will be past me right now."

"So this isn't a sudden decision." Clive said as he sat down opposite Andrew. " This is something you've been thinking about?"

"For a while now." Andrew said nodding. "And I decided I want to move forward with it. I want a family. I'm ready for it."

"And how does your family feel about this?" Clive asked in curiosity. "They don't mind you settling down?"

"They don't care."

"How can they not care?" Clive said frowning. "They're your family after all. Shouldn't they be concerned about you settling down?"

"My family isn't exactly family." Andrew said with a snort. "We're more like business partners than family."

Clive looked surprised by this. "What? How come?"

"I don't think my family ever cared about me as a person." Andrew said with a shrug. "They cared about my money and what I could do for them. Once I became useful they were suddenly family. That doesn't really fly with me. 'The rich stay with the rich' my dad always preaches but look at me. No one is with me. I'm tired of this bondage. I'm breaking it myself right now. I'm getting myself a family. A real one. I don't care if I have to buy one."

"You shouldn't say that boss man." Clive cleared his throat, his eyes shifting as if trying to tell Andrew something. And Andrew didn't get what was being gestured to him.

"I should start my mission of my family immediately." He got up to do just that, get his family that he'd buy just like he had placed the bet with the old  grey woman in white.

But he just had to turn to see what Clive must have been warning him about. His parents.

Andrew's eyes widened as he saw both his parents. His father and mother standing by the door, both of them looking furious. "Hi, mom. Hi, dad."

"Hi, nothing." His father snapped. "What do you mean by buying a family? What in god's name has gotten into you?"

"Buying a family?" His mother asked aghast. "You're no longer a child to go around spending money on frivolous things. Why would you say something like that?"

"Dad, mom." Andrew tried to find the right words to explain himself.
