Chapter 6: Temporary peace

Aurora Gabriel returned home, her mother asked but she did not bother to answer. Aurora Gabriel's whole body was exhausted. She walked into the bathroom, turned on the rinse water directly on her body, hoping to find the last bit of sanity left. Aurora Gabriel lay on the bed, lightly touching the half-finished script placed on the bed, her eyes wandering with regret. She really enjoyed this role, but now there is no chance. Thinking of this, Aurora Gabriel gently picked up the script, flipped it open for a while, looked at the red brick lines in the script, and remembered her own scenes.

Aurora Gabriel pulled the last drawer of the table and placed the script neatly in the drawer. From now on it will stay there forever, never to be touched again, it carries her dream, carries so many beautiful memories of Aurora Gabriel lying at the bottom of the cabinet.

Aurora Gabriel fell asleep when she didn't know

As she woke up, it was already morning. She left the room, her mother was fidgeting in the kitchen.

“Wake up? Come in and have breakfast.”

Aurora Gabriel sat down at the table, seeing a set of bowls and chopsticks and two or three half-used dumplings placed on the table that had not yet been removed, she felt strange.

"Do you have a guest?"

"Ah, Shanley Theodore came over, I told him to eat some breakfast, then he left. He's looking for you, but I don't want to wake you up, if anything, you can call him back."

Aurora Gabriel did not answer, she took a dumpling and put it in her mouth. The soft meat melts right in her mouth, making her mood a little better. It is true that the dumplings her mother made can dispel the five mixed flavors.

Speaking of Shanley Theodore, Aurora Gabriel still has a lot of scattered thoughts. Now she has lost everything, but she can't marry Shanley Theodore, she doesn't love him at all, nor is she a virgin to match him anymore. 

She once thought about begging Shanley Theodore to help her get her role back, but she couldn't get him involved, his father would be angry with him. But Shanley Theodore visited her mother and Aurora every day, taking care of them without any thinking. Aurora Gabriel really felt that this debt of gratitude was too great, she could not repay.

After breakfast, Aurora Gabriel entered the room, was depressed when Vera called.

"Vera, what's wrong?"

“Do you know what? You can be the heroine again."

"What?"

"How is it possible? Is it true, Vera? Which investor?"

"I asked, but the company said that this investor is quite private, not revealing any more information."

“Is it one of the investors we invited to dinner?”

"It's not, I'm just as skeptical as you, so I'll try to investigate it quietly, these investors didn't get what they wanted, so no one was willing to release any money."

“I really didn't expect it, it was like a dream. I'm even thinking about what I'll do back here in the future."

“Really congrats, really lucky too. Please help me prepare, the filming will start again next week, you can study the lines."

"Sure, I will work really hard.”

Aurora Gabriel laughed loudly, Vera was also happy. Aurora Gabriel hung up the phone, her whole body seemed to be injected with a serum full of youthful energy, her mood also suddenly changed from gray to strangely clear. Her whole body was full of happiness, and Aurora Gabriel also realized that it had been a long time since she had this feeling again.

She opened the desk drawer and pulled out the script she had just put away yesterday. She looked at it, smiled brightly and kissed it.

Aurora Gabriel threw all the afflictions behind her head, was in a happy mood, and focused on reading the script. She also thought about that mysterious investor, who is that? 

What about Shanley Theodore? 

That's also one of the speculations that Aurora can think of right now, but Aurora Gabriel has a feeling that it is not him. 

After all, who is this person? What does he want from her?

On this side, Phelan Darius also just received the news that his subordinates had completed the assigned instructions, he nodded to show satisfaction. His subordinates were once again confused.

"Mr. Darius, you have never cared about the entertainment industry before, why did you take action today for an unnamed actress?"

Phelan Darius was silent for a long time without answering. The male subordinates saw that Phelan Darius was silent and did not answer, felt guilty because he was thinking too much, and lowered his head to reflect. Suddenly, Phelan Darius answered again.

“Because I found what I was looking for.”

Is this to slowly seduce the other actress into the net?
