Focus Tiana focus!

The Campbell Residence ....

"Sweetheart, where did you go very early this morning?" Tiana's Mom asked as she walked into the house.

"I decided to go for a morning jog," she replied tiredly.

"Morning jog ?! " Her Mom asked.

"In a gown and sandals " her mom added ,narrowing her brows at her.

"It was more of a walk than a jog " she replied and her mom just looked at her from head to toe.

"If there's anything bothering you , talk now, Tatiana," she said.

"I don't understand your mood these days ,what exactly is wrong ?!" She asked.

"I'm fine Mom , just a little bit stressed with work " she said.

"You're still an intern and you're stressed with work "

"What if you become a real staff member?" she said.

"Interns do the most work mom" she replied and her mom nodded slowly.

"If you don't mind , I should start preparing for work now " she said and began to walk towards her room.

Just as she got to the passage, her dad walked out also,

"Good Morning Dad " she greeted

"Morning" he murmured in reply as he looked at her from her head to her toe.

"What's wrong with your daughter? " he finally asked as he looked up at her mom.

"I'm okay Dad ," she said immediately and he turned to look at her.

"You're okay ?!" He said as he looked at her like a scientist staring at his specimen and she slowly recoiled and wrapped her hands over her stomach, like his gaze was suddenly going to pierce through her stomach and see her baby .

"I'm fine dad " she whispered and he waved his hands to dismiss her.

"Can you stop being hard on her ?!" She heard her Mom ask as she walked away to her room.

"She's our only girl child , we need to be hard on her, " her dad replied.

"We can't afford her getting pregnant outside of wedlock now can we ?!" He added.

"But she's old enough already and can make sensible decision " 

"Besides we taught her well ,so why are you still feeling insecure " her Mom replied and Tatiana just shut her eyes tightly as she hastily walked to her room and slammed the door shut.

Only if they knew that their greatest fear for her had already happened to her , she could probably predict her mother's reaction, but she knew for sure that her father would kill her the moment he finds out that she's pregnant.

She felt very disgusted with herself for disappointing her parents , as if that was not worse , she got pregnant through a one night stand.

She began to even wonder and backtrack how the hell he came across her on that office dinner that night , to the extent of having sex with her.

"Does this mean he's attracted to me ?!" She whispered as she walked up to the mirror and looked it in.

"Of all the hot girls in the office , he came for me " she whispered as she continued checking out herself in the mirror.

And just like a reset , she stopped immediately as she slapped her cheeks lightly.

"Focus Tiana focus , that's not the issue here " she whispered as she dropped her hands frustratingly and walked back to her bed.

As if things were not going bad enough for her already , Ethan decided not to accept the baby.

Where the hell is she supposed to start her life from now , 

She can't hide her baby bump for so long , her parents will surely find out.

"I might as well just kill myself before they find out " she whispered to her self.

Her initial plan was to lie to her parents that she would be traveling to another state for work while she moves in with Ethan at least until the baby is born.

They'll probably be less strict if she came back with a baby , telling them she was pregnant is a little bit more embarrassing than coming back with a baby.

"I need to find a way, " she whispered.

"I just have to !" She murmured.

She heaved a deep sigh as she laid backwards on her bed, in all of the plans she had for her life this wasn't one of them.

Her eyes wandered around the room and it landed on the wall clock. 8:00am

"Shitt!!" She cussed immediately as she stood up from her bed quickly , dragged her towel from the hook and dashed into the bathroom.

"You're not gonna have breakfast" Tatiana's mom called as she rushed out of her room and headed towards the door.

"I'm late mom " she said, not stopping at all.

"Still , put something in your stomach " 

"I made you a sandwich " she said and Tiana stopped as she turned around and headed for the dinning table.

She picked up a slice and took a bite out of it .

Immediately she swallowed it, her hands flung to her mouth as she turned the other way , before she could get to the wash hand basin , she already threw up all over the place .

"Christ " her mom exclaimed as she stood up immediately and rushed towards her.

"What did you put in it? " she asked immediately.

"Fish ," her Mom replied.

"But you love fish, " she added immediately.

"I felt irritated by it , I have no idea why" Tatiana replied as she gently took the glass of water her dad stretched to her and rinsed her mouth with it.

"Thank you " she whispered and he slowly nodded as he walked back to his seat.

"Are you sure you're okay , when did you start becoming irritated by fish "

"You eat only fish !" Her Mom said and she slowly shook her head.

"I have no idea " she whispered as she walked into the kitchen to get a Mop.

"Don't worry ,go have your clothes changed I'll clean the whole place up " her Mom said and she whispered a thank you as she began to head for her room.

"I think we should go to the hospital for a full body test " her dad said and she turned to him immediately.

"It's actually not that serious dad , sometimes the things we love don't go down well with us " she said immediately.

"That's my decision and as long as you live under my roof you'll do as I say " he replied 

"Dad , I'm an adult and I know if something is wrong with me "

"And I'm telling you I'm fine, " she said.

"You're an adult ?!" He said, staring at her.

"But you're still my child and you'll follow my instructions!"

"You're not a bubbly as you used to be , you're always tired "

"I need to confirm , if you have any sickness to be treated "

"If something is wrong with you ,we have to find out quickly , so it doesn't become terminal, " he said.

"Terminal?!!" She exclaimed as she looked between her mom and her dad , her eyes desperately begging her mom to talk to say something.

But her Mom just kept quiet, she knew better than to interfere.

"But dad ..."

"No buts Tatiana, I've made up my mind and we're going to the hospital!"

"Go into your room , get changed and go to work !"

"We'll go in the evening!" He said giving no room for argument and she stomped her feet softly on the floor as she headed for her room.
