Chapter 18: Stepmother's surprise

Mrs. Gina arrives at home in the evening and she meets only Mia in the living room.

She stepped inside and asked Mia, "What's wrong?"

"Mom, Nathan said that Olima went out to your shop since in the afternoon, and up till now, she's not yet back," Mia complained. As she really hated Olima, she remembered seeing Olima in her bedroom when she returned the previous day, and also in the morning before leaving for school with her mother.

Mrs. Gina stared at the living room wall clock time and saw it was already 8 pm. She said, "I didn't see Olima at my shop or in the market.

Maybe she will soon be back from wherever she went too. Here, take this meal to the kitchen and serve it out. I'm coming downstairs; let me go upstairs first and freshen up."
