Staring at her parents like they were ghosts, she finally fell on a chair near her. She should have listened to them when they told her she should sit down before. Her hands trembled as he held on to her palms tight, her eyes gauging out of her socket.

"What did I just hear? You guys are joking right?" May asked after regaining herself, still unable to believe what she just heard.

Celine and Dave looked at each other. Dave isn't really concerned, he knew May would react like this. Celine on the other hand doesn't feel at ease. She's been unable to be mean to May lately, because it hurt to think her only child hated her.

"We are not joking. How can you even think that we would joke with something as serious as this. What do you see us as?That's the truth." Dave replied bluntly with no emotions on his face.

May's heart sank the moment she heard the confirmation. So it is not a joke. They are telling her the truth. She is their real daughter and Debra is just an adopted one.

"You mea
