Lately, my hands were tied. I was looking for Gregory and his influences when I heard Interpol had arrested them. I used my connections to talk with Maya's attorney in a restaurant.

"Why would they arrest Maya?"

"Are you going to help her out?"

I shook my head, "If she had killed her boyfriend, why should I do that at all?"

"It was your wife who sent her to jail! She plotted against her and Maya won't forgive this."

My head grew numb! Olive? How did she realize this? How did she manage? She couldn't be alone.

"Then I must thank her! I was about to trust Maya again. Besides, I want you to send a message to Mason."

The attorney frowned, "We don't seek war!"

"Neither do I want that. Just tell him to restrain his people. If something happens to Kit again, I will burn this world, let alone his community."
