I took the last sip of my drink and tapped on Tobin's shoulder.

"Party is over for us. Time to give some lessons to John!"

I peeked at John who was talking to a few of his friends. He was entirely distracted when I approached Elenore.

Near her ear, I whispered, "Let's talk in the parking lot!"

"What for?"

I winked at her, "Speaking my heart to you!"

I gave her a seductive grin, one of those I rarely offered someone with. She was unnerving and troublesome. As Ed indicated, we could not let her off this easily.

I rushed to the parking lot of the hotel. The engagement party was growing hotter and no one paid attention to our absence.

Everyone's attention was on the music group we invited.

As I expected, my trick toiled on her. It wasn't a surprise. She liked powerful men and it didn't cost me much to lure her.

I walked out of the dark, leaning on my car.

She smiled and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Well, what is the word of your heart?"

Tobin appeared behind her, shak
