Seventy nine: One chance

Staring at him, my pain worsened; both my emotional and physical pain. For a second time, I saw worry around his face. He looked worried and sorry. Why was that?

Unable to stare at my agony any longer, I turned from looking at him, and stared at nothing specific. "What are you doing here?" I asked a straight question, trying as much as possible to hold my tears. 

"We need to talk," he replied, not taking a chance to hesitate on whether to speak or not. 

I scoffed, and turned to him. "About what?" 

"Shanice." He sighed hard, shut his eyes, and returned to staring at me like the idiot he was. "Jill told me about our child. Please, for its sake, can you try to hear me out?"

"Wow." I fixed my arms on my chest, and smiled although I didn't feel like it. "So you can call it our child? Seriously? The guy who abandoned his lover has now come back?"

ooh God after how Aiden had treated Shanice I don't think I'd forgive him that quick,or rather tell him I love him that easily

I have to say, your characters are very rude; each person cuts off the other person before they are done speaking. It gets to be very annoying. Difficult read.
