Thirty: Quarrel

Stepping out of the kitchen in Shanice's house, holding a tray of the cookies I had baked, I joined her and Beth in the living room. 

"It's been a while since I've seen you Beth." I said to Beth in mouthful of cookies, and dropped the tray on the centre table.

Beth dropped her phone on her seat and grabbed some cookies from the tray. "Yep girl." She said, and began to crunch a cookie.

"Well I see her almost everyday." Shanice added from her seat, staring at her phone like her life depended on it. 

"Duh duh." Beth hummed and continued to read through her magazine. She was a big fan of magazines, and goodness knew why. 

I sighed and moved closer to Shanice on the couch she was sitting on, and tapped her shoulder to get her attention to me.
