I wandered in my living room as I shivered so much. I was just so unstable. All I prayed was for my apology to work this time around. If it didn't work out, that was going to be a wrap in our relationship. I doubted if I could keep trying. I wasn't a doll whose emotions were to be played around with.
As Jill had insisted that I apologized to Aiden, I fully decided to do as she had said. Afterall, it was only an apology. I wouldn't die if I did that. It would only help me get back to the one whom I loved.
The doorbell rang, causing me to let out a gasp. That was definitely going to be Aiden because I wasn't expecting anyone else. I checked myself for a second time to ensure I was looking great, and cleared my throat before heading to the door.
