What If

"What if I told you that Harley Smith had your son, would you accept him or would you go after her like the voice in the recorder said?" Asked the lady.

"If it's true and a DNA test confirms that he is indeed my son, then I would accept him. Why would I even think about harming my flesh and blood?" replied Alexander Sterling.

There was a murmur of agreement from some of the attendees, but others still looked skeptical. Alexander knew that he had to do more to convince them of his innocence.

"That being said," he continued, "I understand that these accusations have caused concern among our shareholders and investors. I want to assure you all that I am taking this matter very seriously. I have hired a private investigator to look into these allegations and get to the bottom of this. I am committed to uncovering the truth and clearing my name, no matter what it takes."

There was a general feeling of relief in the room as Alexander finished speaking. Many of the attendees seemed to believe him, and there was a sense of renewed trust and confidence in his leadership.

As the meeting drew to a close, Alexander could feel a little weight lifted off his shoulders. He knew that he still had a long road ahead of him, but he was determined to see it through. With the support of his team and investors, he knew that he could weather this storm and emerge stronger on the other side.

The news of Alexander Sterling's scandal spread rapidly throughout the city, causing a frenzy among his investors and shareholders. Many of them began selling their shares in Sterling Corporation, Even after Alexander Sterling's speech fearing that their investments were at risk.

Amid the chaos, Alexander remained determined to clear his name. He spent long hours poring over the details of the accusations, trying to find any inconsistencies or evidence that could prove his innocence.

As he worked tirelessly to defend himself, a small group of investors and shareholders stood by his side, refusing to sell their shares and expressing their support for him.

"I believe in Alexander," one shareholder said firmly as they stood as a group in the hallway outside the meeting room."I've known him for years, and I refuse to believe that he could be capable of something like this."

Another investor nodded in agreement. "We all know that these kinds of accusations can be fabricated," she said. "We need to give Alexander the benefit of the doubt until we have all the facts."

Alexander was grateful for their support, knowing that it would be a long road ahead as he fought to clear his name and salvage his reputation. But he was determined to see it through, no matter what it took.

"I appreciate your faith in me," Alexander said to the group of shareholders and investors as they stood in the hallway outside the meeting room. "I won't let you down."

Alexander and Caleb made their way toward the elevator, the weight of the recent accusations against Alexander heavy on their minds.

As they rode the elevator to the top floor, Caleb turned to Alexander. "You holding up okay, man?"

Alexander gave a small smile. "Yeah, I'm hanging in there. It's just been a lot to process."

Caleb nodded. "I can't believe a woman you don't even know Harley Smith would make those kinds of accusations against you. It's insane."

As they walked into Alexander's office, Caleb took a seat across from Alexander's desk.

"Any luck finding anything?" Caleb asked.

Alexander let out a sigh. "No, not yet. I've been digging through everything, but there's nothing substantial. I'm hoping my private investigator can find something."

Caleb leaned forward. "I know you're innocent, man. We just need to find something that can prove it."

Alexander nodded. "I appreciate your support, Caleb. It means a lot to me."

Caleb gave a reassuring smile. "You don't have to thank me, man. We're best friends. That's what we do."

As they left the office, Caleb turned to Alexander. "Listen, why don't we go grab a drink or something? Take your mind off of things for a bit."

Alexander smiled. "That sounds like a good idea. Let's do it."

As they walked out of the building, Alexander couldn't help but feel grateful for Caleb's unwavering support. It gave him the strength to keep pushing forward and try to clear his name.

Alexander got into Caleb's car and they rode to a bar to have some drinks and something edible. As they sat down, they both ordered their drinks and started to relax. However, their peace was short-lived as they overheard two men talking at the table next to them.

"I know Alexander Sterling is capable of doing this. That's what all rich guys do," the first man said.

Alexander stared at them in horror, his fists clenched in anger. He stood up, his eyes locked on the two men.
