" You were working under him for weeks and you didn't feel the importance of informing me about him!!!" Ranvijay shouted at me.

I replied sighing," I am just his employee. Nothing else."

" Enough of all this. You are leaving this job. You are not going to that man's office again. I earn very well and it's enough to bear your and Neela's expenses," He declared and gently laid down Neela on the bed who was sleeping peacefully on his shoulder.

I replied exhaling," I am not going to leave this job."

" Why is that?" Ranvijay asked me very coldly and I can feel the anger in his voice.

I replied trying to make him understand," I can't be a burden on you Ranvijay. I have depended financially on you for almost 2 years. I just want to be a self-dependent woman. That's why I don't want to lose my job. Moreover, I have signed a 5-year agreement with the company where I have to serve the company for 5 years."
