Chapter 50: Evelyn is unsure and we're stuck in the school
Evelyn's POV
"What do you want?" Xavier grunted, lifting his head to take a better look at me.
"Want something to eat?" I mocked him.
He let out a chuckle, "I see what you did there." He rolled around, laying on his back as he stared at me upside down.
I gave a fake snort, "Glad you noticed."
"Aww, aren't you cute?" Xavier awed, chuckling lightly.
I don't know how he got the audacity to laugh at such a miserable situation he's stuck in.
I avoided his compliment, thinking it probably was just as fake as him. I am not gonna fall for his tactics.
"How does it feels to live in a prison cell?" I asked in a mocked tone but he answered as I crouched down, staring at his chuckling beames face.
The way it was creating bubbles in the pit of my stomach was not helping. I should've attended the drama club to act better.
"Now that you're here, it's nice." Xavier smiled cheekily.
