Hanna’s POV

The other ladies and I had planned the perfectly orchestrated downfall of Scarlett.

And tonight, we would set out the plan in motion.

We needed someone who was dangerously intelligent, morally grey and also an expert in making things look real on paper.

Fortunately, Nika had already told us that there was someone already working within the palace who fit that description perfectly.

His name was Elias.

“He was once a respected scribe in the eastern courts, but now he’s just here forgotten in the palace, but he’s still sharp and still very useful but he’s quite bitter about being overlooked and just does things for money so he can enjoy the finer things in life.” Nika said before we left to meet him.

“A man that likes luxury? He’s going to be perfect.” I said smiling.

She led the way.

“It’s better if I’m the one that speaks to him first about all of this, just follow my lead.”
