Katie's POV

“You are going through the window,” I informed him firmly, pointing in the other direction that he was headed.

He stared at me blankly, as if staring at me would make me take back my words. From the look on his face, I could tell a thousand different thoughts were running through his mind, and he was thinking really hard about whether to say them or just stay mute.

Well, he chose the latter.

He scoffed. “You can't be serious…” He said with a pause, as he folded his arm across his chest.

He looked at the window for a brief moment then his eyes were back on me.

"There's no way I'll let you walk out of that door," I said, as I averted my gaze, looking everywhere but at him. His intense gaze on me was stirring up things inside of me I wasn't mentally prepared for. I know this was all of Lucy's doing, and it took a lot of restraint on my end not to give in to my… no, Lucy's needs.
