He halted, dropping his jaw. His gaze landed on her profile. Her eyes widened. Of all the people she would think she would encounter, Lachlan would never be in the list.

Lachlan isn't able to respond, still contemplating the scene. He wants to pinch himself, no! He wanted to punch himself to test if he is not dreaming or his mind is not making up the circumstance he is witnessing.

“Tsk. You look stupid. And try to close your jaw. I know I am pretty but you don't have to look like that,” she said, full of contempt and a bit of sarcastic tone.

Sebastian, who is leaning on the wall, smirked.

“Mari, what did you do?!” He still can't believe it.

“Trust your eyes, Alpha. I killed these people. They are worthless anyway. So to make them a little bit worthy of their life, I made them useful for myself. I drank their blood,” she said coldly.
