Last night they camped in the woods. The next morning she found herself nuzzled on his muscular chest; it was embarrassing, but as she roamed her eyes, no one else is there. Now, it is her and Lachlan alone in the woods walking towards a place she certainly do not know where.
“I told beta Mellow they can go ahead of us. They left last night.”
Lachlan simply answered her while pushing aside the branches on their way.
“Is that what you told Beta Mellow yesterday?”
“Yes, Beta Mellow have left a lot of work. He needs to be there fast,” he answered thriftily. He know she has a lot of questions on her mind. He can give a definite answer all at once, but talking to her became his new favorite. Let her ask.
