The room slowly emptied after the meeting.

Most of the wolves left quietly, casting curious glances toward Amara as they walked past. Some looked impressed. Others looked annoyed.

A few looked like they wished she didn’t exist at all.

Amara noticed every single one.

Her new senses didn’t allow her to ignore anything anymore.

“Your people don’t like me,” she muttered.

Lucian leaned against the large table, arms crossed.

“They don’t trust you.”

“Same difference.”

“No,” he said calmly. “Trust matters more.”

She scoffed.

“Well, I don’t trust them either.”

Lucian studied her for a moment.

“That will change.”

Amara folded her arms.

“Don’t count on it.”

The room finally cleared until only a few people remained.

Dante.

Kael.

And Lucian.

Kael stepped forward first.

“She shouldn’t be walking around freely,” he said again.

Amara groaned loudly.

“Oh my God, do you have anything else to say?”

Kael ignored her completely.

“She hasn’t even learned control.”

Lucian’s voice remained calm.

“She will.”

“When?”

“Soon.”

Kael’s jaw tightened.

“And if she loses control?”

Amara rolled her eyes.

“I’m not a bomb.”

Dante chuckled.

“Debatable.”

She shot him a glare.

Lucian pushed away from the table.

“That’s enough.”

The room went quiet again.

His presence always did that.

He looked directly at Amara.

“You’re training tomorrow.”

Her eyebrows shot up.

“Excuse me?”

“You need control.”

“Over what?”

Lucian’s eyes flickered gold briefly.

“Everything.”

Her stomach tightened.

She didn’t like the sound of that.

“Training starts at sunrise,” he continued.

Amara stared at him like he had insulted her personally.

“Sunrise?”

“Yes.”

“That’s illegal.”

Dante laughed.

“You’re in a wolf pack now.”

“Wolves don’t wake up early.”

“We do.”

She sighed dramatically.

“I hate all of you.”

Lucian ignored that.

“You’ll report to the lower field.”

“Where I almost died earlier?”

“That was a test.”

“Your tests are terrible.”

Lucian stepped closer.

Amara immediately became aware of how tall he was.

How close he was.

How intense his presence felt.

“You survived,” he said quietly.

She frowned.

“Barely.”

“That’s the point.”

Kael spoke again.

“If she fails training, she’s a liability.”

Amara turned to him.

“You really don’t like me.”

Kael didn’t hesitate.

“No.”

“Well, good news,” she said sweetly.

“I don’t like you either.”

Dante covered his mouth, trying not to laugh.

Lucian looked mildly entertained.

Kael looked like he wanted to throw her out a window.

Lucian stepped away again.

“You’re dismissed.”

Dante nodded.

“Try not to kill each other tonight.”

“Too late,” Amara muttered.

“Mentally, I already did.”

Dante laughed as he walked out.

Kael left without another word.

Now it was just the two of them.

Again.

Amara leaned against the table.

“So… sunrise training.”

“Yes.”

“You’re serious.”

“Yes.”

She rubbed her face.

“This is the worst day of my life.”

Lucian watched her carefully.

“You survived turning.”

“Yes.”

“You survived the test wolf.”

“Yes.”

“You survived running from me.”

She frowned.

“Barely.”

“And tomorrow,” he said quietly, “you’ll start becoming what you were meant to be.”

Her expression hardened slightly.

“I didn’t ask for this.”

“No.”

He stepped closer again.

“But you’re stronger than you think.”

Her chest tightened.

She didn’t know why that bothered her.

Maybe because part of her believed him.

Lucian moved toward the door.

Then paused.

Without looking back, he said:

“Try to sleep.”

Amara frowned.

“Why?”

His voice remained calm.

“Tomorrow will hurt more.”

Her eyes widened.

“Wait—what?”

But he was already gone.

Amara stood alone in the massive room.

She stared at the door for a moment.

Then sighed.

“Fantastic.”

Across the compound…

Rhea stood by a large window.

Watching the moon.

Kael approached her quietly.

“She’s a problem,” he said.

Rhea smiled faintly.

“Yes.”

Kael frowned.

“You don’t seem worried.”

“Oh, I am.”

Her eyes glowed slightly in the moonlight.

“But not for the reason you think.”

Kael crossed his arms.

“What do you mean?”

Rhea’s smile deepened.

“Lucian doesn’t get attached.”

Kael stiffened slightly.

“But he turned her,” he said.

“Exactly.”

Her gaze drifted toward the distant training field.

“And that,” she murmured softly,

“changes everything.”

  • Blood Moon: Claimed by the Mafia Alpha   The Wolves Who Watch

The hallway felt longer this time. Amara walked beside Lucian, trying not to show how strange everything felt. Every step made her hyper-aware of the people around them. Or rather… The wolves. She could feel their eyes on her. Everywhere. Watching. Judging. Some curious. Some hostile. It made the back of her neck itch. “How many of them are there?” she muttered. Lucian didn’t look at her. “Enough.” “That’s not an answer.” “It’s the only one you’re getting.” She rolled her eyes. “Do you ever give normal responses?” “No.” “Figures.” They entered a wider corridor. The moment they did, several wolves straightened. Respect. Fear. Submission. It all aimed at one person. Lucian. Amara noticed it immediately. The way their heads lowered slightly. The way no one dared step into his path. Even the air seemed to move around him differently. She frowned. “You’re really their boss.” Lucian glanced at her briefly. “I’m their Alpha.” “That sounds worse.” As they w

  • Blood Moon: Claimed by the Mafia Alpha   The Alpha’s Realization

The door opened slowly. The metal creaked softly, the sound echoing through the dim chamber. Amara barely heard it. Her body lay on the cold floor, chest rising and falling weakly as exhaustion pulled at every muscle. The fight had drained everything from her. Even breathing felt heavy now. Footsteps approached. Slow. Measured. Familiar. Her eyes fluttered open slightly. Blurred shapes filled her vision until one figure stepped closer, blocking the faint light from the hallway. Lucian. Even in her exhausted state, her body reacted instantly. Her senses sharpened again. His scent hit her first — dark, powerful, unmistakable. Her heart skipped. “I hate that you’re the first thing I see when I wake up,” she muttered weakly. A faint smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth. “And yet,” he replied calmly, “you keep waking up in my territory.” She rolled her eyes, though the movement made her head spin. “Not by choice.” Lucian said nothing. Instead, his gaze shifted to th

  • Blood Moon: Claimed by the Mafia Alpha   Eyes in the Dark

Amara couldn’t move. Her body locked in place as her eyes strained against the darkness. Those eyes… They were real. Not her imagination. Not fear playing tricks on her mind. They were watching her. Waiting. Her breath came out slow. Shaky. “What… is this…” she whispered. No answer. Only silence. And those eyes. Then A low growl echoed. Deep. Warning. Not human. Her heart slammed violently against her chest. “No…” she shook her head, stepping back slowly. “No, no, no—” Another growl. Closer. Her instincts screamed at her. Run. Fight. Don’t freeze. Amara forced her body to move. One step back. Then another. Her breathing quickened as her back hit the cold wall. Trapped. The darkness shifted. And suddenly It moved. A figure lunged forward. Fast. Too fast. Amara screamed, dropping low just in time as something massive flew over her. A crash echoed behind her. Heavy. Violent. Her heart raced wildly as she scrambled to her feet. “What the hell is

Amara didn’t stop struggling. Even as Lucian carried her like she weighed nothing… Even as the gates closed behind them… Even as the air shifted again—heavy, controlled, suffocating. She fought. Kicked. Twisted. “Put me down!” she snapped, her voice sharp despite the fear clawing at her chest. Lucian didn’t respond. Didn’t even look at her. Like her resistance meant nothing. That alone made her angrier. The moment they stepped back inside— All eyes turned. Guards. Wolves. Watching. Waiting. Judging. Amara felt it instantly. Their stares. Their curiosity. Their fear. Her stomach tightened. She hated it. Hated how exposed she felt. “Enjoy your run?” The voice came from the side. Dante. Leaning casually against the wall, a smirk playing on his lips. Amara glared at him. “Mind your business.” He chuckled. “Oh, I like her.” “Take her to the lower wing.” Lucian’s voice cut through everything. Cold. Final. The room went quiet instantly. Amara’s heart dr

  • Blood Moon: Claimed by the Mafia Alpha   You Can Run

Amara didn’t think. She just ran. Her bare feet slammed against the cold marble floors as she pushed herself forward, her breath coming out in sharp, uneven gasps. The hallway stretched endlessly ahead of her—dark, unfamiliar, suffocating. Her heart pounded violently. Too fast. Too loud. Everything felt too real. Too sharp. Too intense. “Just run… just run…” she whispered to herself. Her senses were still out of control—every sound echoing in her ears, every scent overwhelming her. She could hear voices far away, footsteps in different directions, even the faint hum of something electrical deep within the walls. It was driving her insane. But she didn’t stop. Couldn’t stop. She turned a corner. Another. Another. The building felt like a maze. “Where is the exit?!” she cried, panic rising fast. Her chest tightened as fear clawed at her throat. She didn’t belong here. Didn’t understand this place. Didn’t understand them. All she knew was She had to get out. Fina
