"The Hunter's have already gotten the children." Kaynon whispered to Ciaran at the entrance of his cave."We'll have to track him. It's not going to be easy to do without her, but she is in no condition for such a mission at this point." Ciaran replied, just as quietly."I agree, she's still getting used to shifting and reconnecting with her wolf. She'll ravage anything and everything in her path.""You'll need to stay here with her. Keep her safe, not just from anything harmful out here, but safe from her losing her sanity because of this." Ciaran ordered."Yes, Alpha." Kaynon turned towards the glow of the flames lighting the stone walls."Oh, and Kaynon? Now would not be a very good time to talk to her about mates either." Ciaran said, gripping his shoulder firmly."I know. I know." Kaynon said with a sigh before walking in his den and sitting beside Cilyna."So what's the plan?" She asked, her gaze never wavering from the orange and yellow flames licking up the sides of the logs.
Blue Moon Chapter 18: The Trail
Cilyna had had enough of sitting around in Kaynon's cave while those men were off doing only God knows what while her children were kidnapped. She dropped the bear skin blanket covering her naked flesh and immediately shifted. She was not exactly sure where she was but looking out the mouth of the cave she could just see the wide space the town should be located and twisted her paws in that direction."I have to find my babies!" "Chloe? Are you ok?" Kade whispered to his sister as they huddled together in their tiny cell."I'll be better when mommy gets here." she whispered back, squeezing his cold hands."Do you know when that will be?" he's asked, trying to be brave for his sister."No, you know I don't know how to tell time with the things I see yet." she grumbled at her brother."What do you think they are going to do with us?" he asked, looking around at the dark room."They're going to strap you down and poke you with needles and try to figure out what makes us all different from them and how they can control you for their own gain." a voice echoed from another section of the corridor where they were being held."Who said that?" Blue Moon Chapter 20: Dilemma
"It's never a good idea to return to the place where you were captured. You could be caught again." Kaynon commented as they slowed their pace to a cautious crawl, reaching her backyard."We'll be fine. Besides, I told you I did not want your help." Cilyna retorted, sneaking up to the shed's entrance."Why are we here anyway?" Kaynon asked as he stood watch while she disappeared into the shadows."I needed to grab a few things that I forgot earlier." She answered, returning with a crowbar and a sledge hammer held tightly between her jaws."You came back here earlier? And what could you possibly need that for?" He questioned, eyeballing her choice of tools.Without answering him, she began to walk away from him yet again. Blue Moon Chapter 21: Recognition
Cilyna's eyes felt like glue had been smeared across them. She reached up to rub the sleep away before realizing she was not alone nor was she in her own home. "So everything really did happen?" she thought to herself."Unfortunately, yes." she heard her wolf whisper back in response."How are you feeling?" Kaynon asked as she fully regained consciousness, now able to open her eyes."Like hell warmed over. What happened? How long have I been out?" She responded groggily."You were shot with silver. The bullet passed through, luckily, but you've been out for five days from the residue left by the bullet." He answered on a sigh, reluctantly."FIVE DAYS!" She jolted up, getting a head rush in the process, placing her hands up to her forehead."Lay back down before you pass out again." He responded calmly as he laid his warm palms on her shoulders easing her back against the fur pallet.She held her hand to her forehead and a groan escaped her lips with the pain that began to intensify.

"Alright, the lab director has waited long enough. Come on little witch!" a guard stepped through the cell to the twins and grabbed Chloe by her arm roughly."Ouch! You're hurting me! Let go!" she screamed."Leave my sister alone!" Kade flung himself at the man, throwing his little fists at whatever he could reach.The man grunted as Kade hit him in the groin with all his force."Look here you little shit!" the man yelled at he jerked Kade by the arm and tossed him into the opposite wall hard enough to cause pain but not hard enough to cause permanent damage."Kade! Blue Moon Chapter 23: Entrance
The sight that befell Cilyna and Kaynon as they reached the side of the mountain had Cilyna staring in astonishment. An older woman with hip length silver hair sat cross legged in the center of a salt circle. There was no wind blowing through the trees, yet her hair was flowing all around her as if she had stuck her finger in a light socket though gently swaying to her soft siren chant. The setting sun was her spotlight and the small dust like particles floating in the air looked like glitter. The scene had a Disney magic feel to it.Cilyna and Kaynon stopped about ten feet away from the circle, not wanting to disturb the crone's focus, turned towards Ciaran and his men."Any progress, Hybrid Alpha?" Kaynon spoke in a hushed voice.He shook his head, "She's just as puzzled by it. Lady Silvia is the oldest in her clan and she can't seem to break the concealment spell." Kaynon's eyes adjusted to his surroundings as he moved though the tunnels easily. He knew the scent of Cilyna's children and followed his nose. Rounding a bend, he caught the scent of a few vampires. Catching them off guard, he barreled into them with teeth bared. He snapped ones neck and ripped another's head clean from his shoulders, never slowing his pace knowing Ciaran and his men would finish them off while he continued his search for Cilyna's twins. An alarm system was triggered, alerting anyone within the catacombs of their arrival. He pushed his paws faster through the tunnels. His ears picked up on a quiet whimpering to his left and, slowing his pace, he noticed several steal barred doors lining the length of the hall he had turned into. Peering into the darkness between the bars, he saw a small figure huddled in the corner. A female with her knees to her chest, lifted her head to see Kaynon. Eyes wide in surprise, she quickly scrambled forward, throwing herself against the
