His paws beat against the dirt and freshly fallen leaves. Kaynon's heart soared with the thought of seeing his oblivious mate again. Thomas could get his heart squeeze at the sight of his wife lying sprawled out on the floor. A vision of strength and beauty, one of the reasons he fell in love with her. He could not believe he was so blind that he did not know his only love was there enemy his father and the counsel have been forcing training for.
