Sam POV
That Bastard! I ran up the stairs as fast as I could. I have to get to Aimee, I have a very bad feeling. I reached the top of the stair and breath a sigh of relief. She was safe, sitting on the couch, with two barriers around her. Wait! Two barriers? I can't even do that. How is she doing that? She had one around her and two guards. The other was tighter around her.
"Aims, are you okay?" I said softly as I start getting closer. Her eyes snap at me as I come through the barrier. She reaches for me as she breaks down into tears. She was always quiet when she cried, with just a few sniffles and very rarely a sob. Right now she is crying uncontrollably. I wrap my arms around her tightly. I motion for the guards to leave us. Rocking her in my arms, I said "Im here, talk to me? Please baby." Her sobs slowed down and her tears stopped.

Sam POVDuring dinner, my father-in-law and I discussed pack-related issues and Aimee just chatted with her mom and her brother. I don't know why, occasionally she would hide herself making me touch her leg to make sure she wasn't too far away. At some point, I got caught up talking that I didn't notice she had gotten up until I saw her at the top of the stairs. Not saying a word, I stand up and quickly go to the kitchen to rinse my bowl. I quicken my pace as I get to the stairs. Her scent dances in the air when I open the bedroom door. I hear the shower going, so I head to the bathroom while stripping my clothes. Sam POVIt didn't take long for Aimee to fall asleep. She was exhausted by the time she made it to bed. I had asked her if she wanted me to stay up with her but she said I had things to do in the morning and need my rest. She was right but it was so lonely in bed alone. Aimee POVIt only took a month to get the orphanage and necessities for the pups ready. Sam had contacted every pack in North America and told them that we had built an orphanage to ease the strain orphaned pups can cause in a pack. It was a week afterward that we started receiving orphan pups. We hope the rogues would hear about it and come looking for their lost pups.
