Nadia's pov

I didn't bother going where I was heading before, I only climbed back into my car after Elena had ran into hers immediately I had thrown the heart-recking bomb at her. I drove back home and harbored into my room, a smile smile plastered on my face. Getting my heels of, I threw it somewhere on the hardwood floor and jumped upon my bed.

I know of how enraged Chase would be when he gets to know of what I had; how I had spluttered out our secret plan to her without even a moment of thinking through it. But if I'm the one that's causing him anger evaporation, I should also know how to quench that anger when he comes to face me. I did it in jest of her, but I can't say I regret it one bit because I didn't.
