Everyone fell silent after I agreed that the dress is nice , even though they know I strongly dislike it. I hated the fact that I had to lie about it to , however the look in my dad’s eyes told me to be good. Not only was my ad trying to impress Alexander , but everyone around us had the very same mission. Honestly speaking , I had this urge to run away from this gathering and hid however ; fate is not so kind to me.

Rosemary’s Pov I hear Andrew’s voice , gently speaking to me from the other of the door – his voice instantly making my anxiety and fear melt away into the unknown. Looking to the mirror , I find that my tensed face muscles are now easing up ; they begin to relax allowing my face to look like how I used to. I wipe my eyes , trying to pretend I was just not balling my eyes out in here. I take one last deep breath, letting out all my hated feelings. __________________________________________________________ Andrew’s Pov After dismissing the guard , I lean against the wall – deeply thinking about the new king. What was his deal – why the sudden urge to gain power? I get it , power means everything now however gaining power at his rate is somewhat madness. It is as if he is trying to become the king of the world – which is thee worst if someone like him were to be seated on that thrown. The fact that he killed his own flesh and blood – he killed his own father – shows that he will do anything to gain the power his hunger heart desires. The fact that he is around my age , and so in need for power , violence and chaos makes me shiver as I think what chaos he may create over time. I am so deep in thought , that I do not see or hear Rosemary’s door open. I feel a soft cheeks press against my hand near my shoulder. When I look down , I see a cute little princess’s face smooshed against me.

_______________________________________________ Rosemary’s Pov Every one around the dinner table leans forward just a bit – including myself. We all are eager to hear what he has to say. I admit , he had hooked me with his words : “it is time we discuss the reason behind my visit…”. I was drawn in , wanting to have the closure behind his visit ; however… his sinister smile made me squirm uneasily in my chair. I watch as he eyes every one at the table , individually watching their minds work as they come up with different reasons behind his visit. At last , his eyes land on me – there was something different with the way he looked at me. His eyes were filled with excitement and mischievous wonder. “I am listening…” my father breaks the thick silence that suffocates the room. The words I have spoken , still echo around the room – every one surrounding me , even the guards show expressions of pure horror. I let my lips curve into a crooked smile – I presented an offer so cruelly planned that the king will have no other choice but to let me marry her. “What kind of absurdity is this?!!” the king’s loud voice echo’s after me. I look upon her sleeping form , wondering what a lose it will be to see her go. How sad the kingdom will be to lose such a treasure , such a gentle and delicate soul. I try not to lose my calmness , I try not to throw around her vases – people say that people who are not well can pick up on the energy given off by the people that surround them. Rosemary’s Pov It has five days since the dinner with King Alexander – five days since the kingdom has been put under great turmoil due to the deal Alexander has decided to make with my father. I am too give him my hand in marriage , if not – we would be forced to watch the kingdom and every one I love be burnt to the ground. A cruel deal indeed – a forceful marriage or war is to break loose in the land. I curl up into a ball , angel snuggles deeper into my hands. Curling into a ball gives me much more room in my secret hide out – well , the last time I came in here was years ago when Andy had left. ___________________ Rosemary’s Pov “Hey little one…” Andy greets me – his warm affectionate voice fills the void space I lay in. Come to think of it , this place felt too lonely to be by myself – maybe that is the reason why I did not come back to our cave after he had left , because it felt as if one of the key factors were missing. His sudden appearance fills me with the blissful peace we once had – this make me cheery. However , the fate I am destined for still makes me gloomy. I shake my head at him , but offer him a sad smile. He returns my gesture by offering me a smile back – his smile however was filled with hope and lots of affection and love. “I would say make some space for me…but I guess we both have outgrown this special place…” he says , humor laced in his voice. ___________________________________________________________________________ Rosemary’s Pov Twelve days have passed – two days are left remaining until King Alexander revisits us to get his answer. Each day that passes makes every one in the kingdom more and more hostile and stressed. My father tries to put on a happy face , he tries to act brave and well put together but I know that he is just as fearful as I am…maybe even worse. Every day , for the past twelve days I have been watching the preparations my father has been making for the most feared king’s return. From my balcony every day , I watch the way the soldiers ensure that the wall is firm and that there are enough wooden spikes on the top of it. I watch as they heave and pull at their giant weapons ; the trebuchet. This machine always left me speechless ; imagine a machine throwing a giant rock into the air towards the enemy.
