Xavier’s Pov

Where would she call King Alexander a monster? Sure , he was a bit rough around the edges but I am sure he would treat her well. I hear her sniff back her tears , making my heart heavier and heavier . With out giving it much thought , I slowly walk up to her. Before taking her in my arms , I look down at her while she looks up at me with wet sparkling doe eyes – so I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her to my chest….

And…in this moment , I felt my life finally being complete – as if my soul purpose in life is to have her against me , to have my arms wrapped around her petite body.
