From rough edges to straightforward actions, John's life hands down perhaps has been the most stressful and painful in Born By Power : Chaos And Apocalypse. As the story kicked off, John perhaps, suffered an existing loss, which was the loss of his mother, whose name wasn't mentioned anywhere in the book. As seen in "Chapter 1 : Prologue", John revealed that his foster mother had died few days after he moved over to Venezuela after suffering from Cancer, thus nothing happens without a cause.

Being revealed in "chapter 35; Ere Debacle, Comes The Death Of One," John's foster mother was actually given the sickness which killed her, by Malfada, the fate that speaks destiny. Thus, she revealed that her main goal was to break John perhaps, pushing him to the edge of life.
