Catherine’s POV:

I stepped into the dark passageway, eyeing Lilith who was now tied into a chair. Fury coursed through my veins once I saw her small frail body clamped to that small piece of furniture. My eyes traveled to her hands and feet. Her body was taking way too much pressure for a child.

Oh, poor little Lilith. I must have sworn Easton was such a sick, twisted bastard. To be dragging a clueless and innocent young pup into this is just too much. Clenching my fists, I took small and slow steps forward, suddenly wary of my surroundings.

When I finally approached Lilith, I instantly bent down to untie her. Her bright golden eyes were visibly swollen from crying. My heart ached from the sight.
