Chapter Forty-Eight: A Little Eye Candy

STACIE'S POV

"Stacie!" Antonie growled angrily. I could see the anger on his face. I covered my mouth immediately, acting as if I was sorry that I had said something wrong.

But I was actually laughing at him. He dares to order me around and does whatever he wants with me, acting all charming one second and then being cold and distant the next second. I think I am allowed to collect a little bit of interest here right?

"What are you doing?" He asked me angrily.

"I didn't do anything. I just remembered the events of last night. We....." My words were as ambiguous as they could get. Anyone listening to us right now will definitely think that the both of us had spent last night sleeping together.

I looked over at the guard who will be training me. He had a dumbfounded look on his face. I think he must think that I am sleeping with the Alpha too.

But then, he was soon back to his stoic self. It was as if he wasn't even here. Whatever I said had nothing to do with him.
