Chapter 19: Runaway Sex Slave

Marsai’s POV

We stopped in the middle of nowhere and were panting hard. It seemed like we were still far from any other kingdom. I looked at Sam, he looked a bit pale, he needed to rest.

I walked over to him and told him to sit under a big tree, then I brought him fruits to eat so he could regain his strength. I wanted to see him looking better before I leave. If I continued to stay, Polyphemus was going to do more and many lives would be endangered.

Sam had tried for me in his own way even when his plans for me kept failing as this one would. But his intentions were good enough for me to care.

"Uhm... Sam, rest well. I want to get us some squirrels , rocks, and good branches. We would get hungry soon."

"It's alright, I'll go with you. It would be easier that way."

"No, look at you. You look pale, you need to get some rest. Those fruits I gave you will replenish your energy," I insisted.

"Alright, do not take long. My brother could be searching for us now."

"I'll be back soon," I ass
