_Amelie’s POV_

I could feel their stares boring holes into my back as I kept walking, but I knew they wouldn’t follow me.

They didn’t want me to leave though, that much was obvious when they shared a look and Matteo wanted to push up from his chair but Luca stopped him.

But I just needed to leave that place.

The soft hum of music and clinking of glasses faded as I stepped further and further away from the table. My heart was still unsettled, even though Nico’s voice lingered in my head—“She’s nothing.”

Nothing.

That’s what he said. But the way his eyes had shifted, the way his tone had dipped lower, it hadn’t felt like nothing.

I would know nothing when I see it.

It actually seemed like she had a lot of secrets I wouldn’t exactly classify as nothing, and it bothers me.

I didn’t like people having some sort of leverage or upper hand against me. It made me feel disturbed.

I wrapped my arms around myself as I wandered down the long hallway, trying to find the restroom. The restaura

_Amelie POV_Bianca looked even more striking up close, though in a way that set my nerves on edge. Her dress clung to her curves like it was tailored just for her body, her lipstick bold and dark, her eyes sharp as blades. And that smile—lazy, amused, cruel.“Well, well, well,” she drawled, lips curling as she leaned against the marble counter beside me. “Look who’s here. The famous Amelie.”Famous. She said it like an insult, like a joke. And it sounded like she had heard a lot of things about me too. That seemed to set me off. I blinked once, trying to force my heartbeat to slow. My first instinct screamed at me: leave. Walk out before this becomes something you can’t handle. But another part of me—the part that had been learning to survive around the triplets—told me not to move.If I ran, she’d win.And I wouldn't want that to happen. So I stayed. I straightened my back, lifted my chin, and met her eyes in the mirror. She smiled wider. “You clean up nicely, I’ll give you that.”

  • Bound By Blood: The Step-Brothers' Temptation   Someone they Knew

Amelie’s POVThe restaurant was still filled with low music and the clink of m glasses, but in my mind was a storm. One I had brewed myself.Bianca’s smile kept replaying in my head. The way she leaned close, touched Matteo’s arm like she had every right to, the way her eyes lingered on Nico like she’d memorized him once. Her perfume had drifted between us long after she was gone, clinging to the air, to me.Or maybe I held onto it because I wanted to. And it burned. I tried to drown the thought, to push it down beneath the sound of laughter, but it clung stubbornly, rising with every sip of wine I took. At this point I was going to get drunk, but anything to forget about the way I felt now.The triplets carried on as if nothing had happened. Matteo slid another plate toward me, one I hadn’t ordered, a dish arranged so beautifully it looked like art. Nico tilted my glass, refilling it before I even realized it was empty. Luca cut a piece of meat with lazy precision, holding it to my

  • Bound By Blood: The Step-Brothers' Temptation   Green

_Amelie’s POV_I didn’t know what I was expecting when Luca zipped up my dress, placed a kiss on my neck, and told me I looked beautiful. But it wasn’t this. The moment I stepped outside with them, my arm linked between Nico and Luca, Matteo walking just ahead, I realized this wasn’t just some casual dinner. The three of them were dressed sharp, in tailored black suits that looked like they belonged on the cover of a magazine. They didn’t look like gangsters or criminals right now. They looked untouchable. Dangerous in the way women dream about at night.I could feel the stares even before we reached the car as they walked me out. The maids and their men all stared at us.My cheeks warmed with heat I couldn’t control. These men—my men, I reminded myself—looked like they owned the world. And maybe they did.And they were ready to hand that world over to me. The drive was silent but not uncomfortable. Nico’s thumb traced lazy circles over the back of my hand. Luca’s leg pressed agains

  • Bound By Blood: The Step-Brothers' Temptation   A night out

_Amelie’s POV_Nico rinsed the last of the soap from my skin, his hands steady and slow, as though he wanted to savor every inch of me before letting go.And probably because he didn’t want me slipping off and falling to my death like I had just attempted to do a few moments ago.I sat silently between his legs as his fingers roamed over my body, a shiver travelled down my spine as he kissed the back of my shoulder, then he stood, reaching for a towel. He stepped out of the tub as he dried his body, wrapping the towel around his waist. For a brief moment, I let myself stare at his body. From his broad shoulders to his chiseled back. Then he turned back to me, and I immediately looked away, a slight blush tinting my cheeks. Nico chuckled as if he knew what I was doing already before he reached for me with another towel.“Up,” he murmured softly, almost coaxing.I let him pull me to my feet. He wrapped the towel around me like I was something delicate, something breakable. And I was

  • Bound By Blood: The Step-Brothers' Temptation   Aftercare

_Amelie’s POV_The room smelled faintly of sweat and skin and a little bit of what we had just done. We had gone over and over after that, each time ending in my legs shaking as an orgasm tore through me. My pulse was still unsteady, though the storm of Nico’s roughness had finally stilled. My body throbbed everywhere he had touched me—my breasts sore where he had bitten, my thighs trembling where he had gripped me too tightly, and my skin still tingling from his palm.I wasn’t asleep. I couldn’t be.Nico had his arm wrapped around me, holding me naked against his chest like he was afraid I would vanish if he loosened his grip. His breath was warm against the back of my neck, steady but too heavy for sleep. He wasn’t resting either. For a long while, silence stretched between us, and I paid attention to the broken his thumb stroking slowly across my stomach. He didn’t speak, but I could feel the tension humming through his body, so different from everything he had poured into me ea
