The rogue immediately pushes himself up. “Get away from here, it is none of your business." He snarls. This seems to anger Asger, before I blink, he's already in front of the rogue, hands around his throat as he shoves him Into the rock. “How dare you touch what is mine!" The rogue struggles against his hold, clawing at Asger's chest and drawing blood. “No! No! Let drakarys go!" The bald rogue screeches, rushing forward, but Asger flings his friend towards him, sending them both pummelling into a sharp rock. With a squelch, the rock puncture his ribs and the air is immediately filed with the metallic smell of blood, only to be washed away by the rain. Asger strolls towards me, towering above me as he locks his gaze with mine. He crouches beside me and tucks my wet air behind my ear. “I knew you were trouble the moment I met you." He picks me up and I moan at the touch, curling into his warmth. He raises a brow and my cheek heats up. His body shields mine from the rain and I can feel the heat within me disintegrating. “No! Bjor!" A cry from our left reminds me of what could have happened if Asger hadn't appeared. The rogue who I now know as drakarys hovers above the bald rogue. I can't see his expression, but his shoulders are shaking. Bjorn slowly lifts his hand as if to touch drakarys but it falls mid air and his body goes limp. Drakarys roars! Asger ignores them as he trudges forward with me in his arms. I know I shouldn't but my heart pities them. “Yeah don't. The only pity you should have is for yourself." My eyes widen. How does he know what I am thinking? “Because you're thinking too loud." Can you read my thoughts? "Yes. Now stop thinking.“ Silence descends between us, I mull over the fact that he can hear my thoughts. Has he been listening all along? My eyes wander to his chest where a two horned beast is tattooed. My hand grazes the tattoo, it feels warm beneath my finger tips and I slightly trace the outline of the beast. Those black eyes remind me too much of Asger. The beast looks lonely, almost miserable. Is this what his beast looks like? I am too preoccupied in my thoughts to see the golden strings slowly making their way towards. By the time I realize, the strings have already met their mark, Asger flinches while I yelp, as the thread from his body pierces my fingertips and the one from mine pierces his chest. A tingling sensation travels through my fingers to my brain and before I know it, the heats from earlier returns. My skin burns. Not from the rain, not from fever, something deeper. Like my blood’s on fire and my veins can’t contain it. I claw at my chest, desperate to tear the heat out of me. “Stay still." Asger commands, but I shake my head. Goddess! It feels like I am about to explode from the pain. “It burns!" I cry out. " What burns?“ "My— ugh!“ I lean into his touch, now realizing how good it feels. " You feel so good.“ I snuggle into his chest, rubbing my hand all over it. " Stop it.“ He growls, now increasing his pace. " I can't… you just feel so good." I moan, sniffing in his scent. “So nice." “Fuck woman, what is wrong this time?!" I hear door slamming, and the sound of rain becomes muffled. I bury my head into the crook of his neck , dragging my teeth along it, my hand caresses his chest, going down to his torso. His hand catches mine when I almost get to his member. Tears fill my eyes. 'Why am I acting like a wolf in heat?' “I should be asking you that!" My back meets with the bed and Asger moves away, running his hand through his tousled hair. " Help me… please." I reach for him, begging desperately. Asger shakes his head. Then he turns around and vanishes, leaving me writhing and painting on the bed. My hand begins to wander on my body, something that has never happened before. Shame fills me but I don't have a choice. No matter how hard I find release, it doesn't come and I am starting to go crazy with pain when the door bursts open and Asger hurries in, a man in his heels. “Fix her." Asger growls, pacing the room while the man rushes towards me. The moment he touches my skin, Asger snarls while I recoil. “Don't touch her!" " Well, how am I supposed to know what is wrong without touching her.“ The man snaps back. "If you know you can't handle it then step out.“ Sky blue eyes look down at me. "Hey, tell me exactly how you feel.“ I nod, swallowing as I look towards Asger. " I… my whole body feels hot and my chest is burning." “You reeks of pheromones. Do you have a mate?“ I want to nod but I shake my head, making Reyna whimpers. The man frowns. "Then why are you in heat?“ The question slams the breath out of me, heat? I have only heard about it. If a wolf is in heat, she would lose all sense of reasoning and go for whatever male is before her. But my body isn't responding to the man, the only person my body responded to is... Asger. A deep growl emits out of Asger's chest. “Well, how do we fix it?" " You are completely dumb for your age, how else do you fix a werewolf's heat than quelling it?“ " I am not touching her!“ "Then should I?“ " Touch her and lose your arms.“ " Then-" “Can you guys stop bickering and find a solution already… I can't hold on any longer.“ I snap, feeling irritated. This captures their attention. The blue eyed man turns to me. “You will have to let Asger quell it are you will-" his words freeze mid sentence, he eyes my neck and draws down my shirt. " Is that the bond snake in your body?" His expression changes and he turns to Asger, voice edged with anger. “Why does she have this?" "Well, ask her yourself.“ I grunt when another wave of pain hits me. " Can someone please tell me what I don't know?“ The man turns back to me, face grim. “Well, you have stupidly bound yourself to that bastard, and now he's your mate. That is why you are in heat." The words hit me like a brick. Goddess! What have I put myself into? ~P-Lia~05The rogue immediately pushes himself up. “Get away from here, it is none of your business." He snarls. 04I open my mouth to defend myself. Anything. But nothing comes out, instead, I am left gaping like a fish as he glares down at me. The rage in his eyes soon morphs into panic when a similar thread slithers through his skin, moving towards my wrist. He draws my hand closer, tracing mine with his eyes as its icy trail crawls under my skin like it belongs there. “W-what is that?" My voice is edged with panic. My eyes follow it too. “A fucking blood bond.“"W-what?“ I blanch, breathing heavily." You have just bound yourself to me. I told you to find food not a fucking cursed thread.“ “How can I undo it? I didn't mean to-”" Shut up!“ He snaps, making me swallow the rest of my words. We watch in tensed silence as the two threads begin to crawl for each other, aiming straight for where our hands are connected. Asger instantly yanks his hand away like my touch burns. He steps a few feet back, jaw clenched, fist baled as waves of heat rolls through his shaking shoulders. “Get out!"
03“Asger." My eyes snap open, hands holding my side as I struggle for breath. Beads of sweat coats my forehead, but I feel warm. I lay there, staring at the stone carved ceiling and enjoying the comfort I haven't had for days. Is this what death feels like? I wonder in my mind after a few minutes. “No, that's what my bed feels like, now stop breathing too loud. It's irritating." I shriek when a familiar rough voice mumbles close to me, making me look to my left. The moment my gaze meets with black pools, I squeak, almost jumping off the large bed at his closeness.“Fuck woman! Told you to keep it down." He hisses, burying his head into my neck. I can only clamp my hand over my mouth, trying not to think of how he is laying beside me, with his shirts off and his dark hair ruffled from sleep. Steady breath. Steady breath.I tell myself, breathing in his cinnamon scent that makes my pulse race . I try to keep my thoughts in check. That's when the thought occurs to me. Aren't I s
02I almost forget to breathe. He straightens slowly, dim light tracing the scars that run down from his neck to his forearm. His gaze stays fixed on me, cold and unblinking. When he moves, he moves with grace and intent. “Lost?" He raises a brow, voice low and edged with amusement that doesn't reach his eyes. My throat tightens, fist clenched as I struggle to speak. He tilts his head, watching me like I am something fragile… or something he might trample on just to see how easily I break. Then almost gently, he asks. “Why are you here, little wanderer?“ As if on cue, the creatures chasing after me blasts out of the trees, each one a terror on its own, red eyes arranged in fours above their heads, canines sharp and saliva scattered around their overly wide mouth.. Dark, growling, all coming for me. I look between the man and the hound, already making my choice. “Kill me." I say, looking back at him. His brow raises in amusement. “And why should I do that, little wanderer?" “Y

I thrash against the iron grip of the pack warriors, eyes blurred with tears as I am dragged out of the pack grounds. “Ples-" My back meets with the floor. goddess. This was never meant to happen.Cold air whips against my skin, erupting goosebumps that marks the beginning of what's to come. I crawl to my knees, searching the confused faces of my pack members.'Is she from around here?''I don't think I know her' the whispers make Reyna whimper within me.They don't remember me.The large crowd parts, and a graceful woman in lilac makes her way towards me, arms wrapped around that of a man whose cognac eyes regard me with disgust.'She shouldn't touch mate like that, mate shouldn't look at us like that.' Reyna cries out, howling. 'Does mate hate us?'My heart clenches at the thought and I immediately begin crawling towards them.
