Chapter 21

“Mind if I join you?” Alex asked, even though he was already entering the bathroom. He had removed the towel he had wrapped around his waist even before I could give him an answer.

“Sure.” I replied, although there was no need as he was already inside. My eyes darted about the bathroom in a bid to avoid his eyes, but I could feel his gaze on me, barking holes into my skin, and I shivered.

“Move over, so we can share.”

“Okay.” I moved out of the shower and stood close to the wall of the bathroom, suddenly interested in scrubbing my skin, ignoring the other occupant of the bathroom.

I didn’t know when Alex pressed a button and the water sprayed on me like raindrops. “Ouu.” I shrieked in excitement as the hot drops landed on my body. “I never knew it could do this.”

“Oh, it could do a lot more than this. It could make you hot; it can also make you cold and clean you from the inside out.”
