Chapter - 01 - The Fall Of House Grewin

Alenna…….’s standpoint.

The night was in its usual calmness, and the sky was gentle as ever. It was my nightly routine to watch the stars through the window before I settled in for the day.

I was still engrossed in the night’s beauty when the first scream ripped out into the air, raw and the loudest I’ve ever heard- a hurtful screech to my ears. My vision zoomed into the kingdom below me, alarmed and frightened.

Something is wrong, I squinted at the hooded men on horses as they mounted any houses in sight. My feet took to motion as I dashed out of my room in a frantic pursuit.

My mother came out to meet me before I could arrive at her chamber, the same dread in her eyes.

“Alenna, find your brothers. Get them both to safety,” she instructed before she took off.

Dad wasn’t around so the weight of the kingdom’s protection was upon us. The weight of this invasion was upon my mom.

I arrived at my brother's chambers to see they were already awake and in the same state the whole feeling was currently engulfed in.

“Let’s go. We have to run.” I helped them out from below the bed where they’ve gone to hide themselves as we set out of the room.

I guided us through a safe passage that led to the underground chamber designed for this very moment. Once I’ve got both my brothers settled below the chaos going on above ground, I needed to go back for my mother. To help with whatever I can.

“Where are you going?” I halted at the sound of my brother’s question.

“No please don’t leave, don’t leave us here.” The other one begged, and I turned to face the both of them as I laid a palm down on their cheeks. A soft smile creasing onto my face.

“I won’t. I’ll be back for the both of you, I promise. I just need you both to stay safe here and relax, alright?” I looked them in the eyes as they both nodded positively in response.

I broke out a soft sigh as I drew away from them, perfectly masking my own fear.

I stepped back out, and upon reaching the chamber’s corridors- I dropped to my own knees as every inch of myself blacked out.

Right in front of me was the peace I grew up with in shambles, and the order I’ve grown accustomed to a vicious sight of chaos.

Cries flew out from different angles and I watched as the strange intruders took away my people’s lives with little to no effort.

“No! No! No!” I whispered out silently as I pushed back to my feet. My gaze locked on the woman I’ve known all through my stages of life.

She was at their mercy, and in a swift move… I gasped, her head was ripped off, blood bolted out of her neck in a scattered tear.

I’d gone numb staring at her lifeless body dropped to the floor. She- she doesn’t deserve that. No…. She-

I was too stunned to speak, too numb to move my eyes away from her dead body and react to the men approaching me.

They killed her! And now they’re coming for me?!…

My fear suddenly foamed, transforming into a different energy that motivated rage.

Finally, my eyes moved from the dead handmaiden, lowered and darkened. They were hinging closer and closer, yet I stayed rooted to my spot.

I closed my eyes briefly, channeling at my core. By the time my eyes snapped open, my wolf had taken partial control and the red colors were as visible as a clear sparkle in my eyes.

Granted with the speed of light, I moved out of position and charged directly for the three men at once. They were instantly launched above the ground and into the air upon my impact.

My claws extracted and I dashed at the nearest victim before he could stick a landing, I grabbed him by his neck and shoved a claw full hand into his chest.

He gulped out blood, coughing as his life drained drastically. I packed him up, throwing him against the two that were standing up and recovering together as the three smashed back into the wall behind them.

I zoomed over to them, grabbed another one of them and slashed a slap across his face. I kept it on repeatedly till his face was a bloody mess and his breaths shaggy.

The last time was passed out, so I dug my hand into his chest to remove his heart so his unconsciousness could be permanent.

I winced at the sudden ring in my brain. My hand pulled out of his chest, going along with my other hand to grab a hold of my hurting head.

The ringing shimmered, sparking the harshest sensation in my head that left me defeated and utterly vulnerable.

Suddenly the air shifted, followed by a wave of sudden chills that slapped violently against my skin. Darkness began to shred out, shrouding the room in a plaguing shadow.

Soon I was engulfed. The ringing in my head persisted, forcing me down to my knees as I held my head up trying to endure the pain.

“Who? Are. You?” A voice echoed out of the darkness, and the ringing stopped at once. The voice sounded like a rumble, one deep enough to swallow the air I breathe.

I spawned back to my feet, unable to see through the thick darkness with my enhanced vision still. It was pitch black, like the end of a hole or an abyss.

“Show yourself!” I screamed out into the darkness.

“Gladly!” The response came in with a strong shake that had the ground I stood on gripped by a quake.

The darkness began to pull together, fast and windy in a smoky particle.

I covered my face to prevent any from infiltrating my nostrils, and didn’t put down my defense until my surroundings had become cleared and my vision was now restored.

A scent seeped past my nose, flowery and decent- like it was almost a taste of heaven. My hands dropped off my face so I could sniff this in better when I came eyes-across the man feet away from me.

He stood still, the beautiful scent ejecting strongly from his posture. Vibrant hues stalking him as his aura.

“M-ma- mate…” the realization hit, harder than it should and that I could take.

“Kneel before your Alpha!” He commanded, and I dropped instantly to my knees, every ounce of my strength erased like a weak ink on paper.

I’m fated to the Night Alpha, the one attacking my kingdom. The one to achieve the mighty fall of House Grewin.

Chapter - 04 - That Easy?Alenna…….‘s standpoint. His options might be merciless, but it’s the end of a cruel fate. “I chose to sacrifice my life for them,” I declared, my tone grounded and expression solid to mask whatever fear I had plaguing my system right now. He smirked, a diabolical side smile. His index went up to his lips as he tilted his head a little to the side, his gaze focused on me. “Interesting, step forward will you..?” He flicked at me, beckoning for me to come close. I pushed out of my knelt down position and stalked forward at a draggy pace. I’ve chosen to die, to sacrifice myself without knowing the fate of my family. Did they survive this ambush? Or they’ve gone along with it? I could only pray hard to the goddess to please keep them safe and alive. I arrived and stood at the same spot he had the innocent guy drained of life moments ago. Ready to embrace my fate, my eyes snapped close. “Any last words?” His voice breezed through my hearing, but I shook my

  • Bound To The Night Alpha    Deadliest Options

Chapter - 03 - Deadliest Options Alenna……‘s standpoint I was weak, my mouth tasted sour, and my system felt sore. Trails of numbness plagued all over my skin, and the cracked lines of cold bathed me in scars. I coughed, frailed and almost choked out my lungs. This is what has become my life since the arrival of the cruel Alpha. He’s had half of the kingdom’s population consumed and no more, whilst the few rest of us are now forcefully subjected to his grim rules and reign. Turns out his darkness refusing to swallow me once spread out was a phenomenon he’s never experienced, and was willing to understand before he plans to take my life. I’ve been thrown inside this dark dungeon for sometime now, locked away from seeing the sun or the night sky in general. This is the new fate of a whole nation’s princess. A prisoner locked up, starved and battered with zero regard for whatever happens to her. I couldn’t check on my siblings or find out what has become of their own fate as well.

I fought to keep my stance still, but ultimately faltered as I shattered whole onto my knees. He could view my struggle. As if amused, his head tilted while his gaze lowered on me like a vulture. I didn’t mind my defeat, I kept to my hustle to wiggle off the potency of his might that had me lagging and on my knees. My efforts caught his attention as he curved a little smirk. Slowly, he drifted close and closer. Darkness spread across from him as he covered the little distance between us, and the darkness reverted back inside of him once he arrived in front of me. I strained to bop my head up to look into his face. I blinked, utterly stunned by his scarring beauty. “Like what you see?” He remarked at my absolute fascination. I frowned instantly, casting a cold expression. “Why are you here?” I grilled, unbothered by the rage lacing my tone at him. He tsked, his

  • Bound To The Night Alpha    Prologue

Prologue Alenna Two centuries ago, before the domination of werewolves, lived the fearsome days of vampires, in league with the witches. A forged alliance that promised a prominent darkness to rule over the days of the past. Existence was shrunken, survival diminished, and life itself withered little by little. There was no savior, no knight, no hero produced by the old or new gods to save humanity. No matter the prayers, the pleas, the cries to the sky, to the old and new gods. There was no interference from them, it was as though they didn’t exist or care to save them as well as listen to their clamors. Chaos mounted the world of supernatural, darkness swayed out the peace, and an era of havoc began. For decades following decades, the world was thrusted into a pirating darkness. The endless abyss of chaos, and the constant shambles of destruction. It was never ending, a version of the end. Tales spoke of how children were born, raised, and died to the world’s cruelty. Only
