Liana’s POV

To say that I was just shocked about whatever trick Kayla played with my emotions was just an understatement. The fact that she made me look like a fool and she left me with so many regrets made my hatred towards her increase with every passing second.

I loathed her with extreme passion and the annoying thing is that Conan told me to be nice to her, he didn’t want her to have any hint that we knew about her secret already. He tried to be nice to her as well and it worked because sometimes, I would come across her smiling to herself while rubbing her belly.

Then, it dawned on me that the only reason why she was always rubbing her belly most of the time was that she was trying so hard to prove that she was pregnant.

I felt sorry for myself and most especially, I felt sorry for Connor who was doing everything to make sure that she was comfortable. He was doing everything because the he did not know that the pregnancy was fake.
