ELARA'S POV

"We can't thank you enough, Elara. You have saved us all," Alpha Kane, the leader of Moonwhite Pack, declared, a faint, genuine smile finally gracing his lips.

"It's nothing, Alpha," I replied with a polite bow that sent a familiar throb through my body. "I'm just doing my job and the best I can."

My job- a nice way of convincing myself for bleeding myself half to death for strangers.

It's been almost a month since I arrived at the Moonwhite Pack and began my daily work in the infirmary, working alongside the pack healers and Mia. To my immense relief, and frankly a bit of shock, the people were bouncing back to their normal selves with astonishing speed. My blood-infused concoctions had been distributed to almost everyone, even those without the illness, just to prevent further damage.
