My phone buzzed on the nightstand and I opened the family chat Wilder had created years ago.

02:45 Wilder: I’ve been waiting all night to do this.

02:45 Wilder: I’ve got a good one.

02:46 Saint: Give it your best shot.

02:46 Niko: Why the fuck are you texting so early?

02:46 Wilder: Did I interrupt sexy time with your hand, Nikki?

02:47 Niko: Fuck off

02:47 Saint: Just tell him to go ahead so we can all sleep.

02:47 Niko: Go ahead, Wildy

02:48 Wilder: Okay, okay

02:48 Wilder: Why don’t melons ever get married?

02:49 Saint: No clue, wild thing.

02:49 Elian: What the fuck is wrong with you?

02:49 Wilder: Oh goodie, Ellie joined the party.

02:49 Niko: Just tell us, fuck face!

02:49 Wilder: Do you have to be so mean?

02:49 Saint: Ffs

02:50 Wilder: Fine, fine

02:50 Wilder: Because they cantaloupe … get it?

02:50 Elian: That’s not even funny.

02:50 Saint: It’s a little funny.

02:50 Wilder: Thank you, Saint, you beautiful man.

02:50 Niko: Cantaloupe? How is that funny?

02:51 Wilder: Cantaloupe … can’t elope … fuck. I need new friends.

I snorted and exited the group chat. I quickly changed back into the sweatpants I’d worn earlier and slid into bed. The five hours in the car had helped, but I was still tired. I closed my eyes, knowing I wouldn’t sleep past 7 a.m.

Wilder woke me by humping my upper thighs, moaning my name and gripping his own chest. I groaned as the motion of Wilder’s rocking made me feel seasick for a few seconds.

“Get the fuck off me, Bishop,” I said.

“Oh boy, using my first name like that only means you haven’t been getting any,” he said.

“Neither have you. Hudson already told me you’ve been jerking off to my pictures, crying into your pillow every night.”

Wilder barked out a rough laugh and his hand landed on my ass. Hard. “Don’t get a stiffy … don’t get a stiffy … aah shit, I got a stiffy.”

“Wilder! Get your fucking stiffy away from my ass!”

“Don’t play coy now, you shouldn’t have clenched your ass like that. You know it makes me hard.”

“Wilder, I swear … I’ll fucking hurt you,” I said.

“Threatening me with a good time, SV, I like it.” He shifted off me and I turned on my back, glaring at him with a cold look that he ignored.

“The ever gorgeous Rafaella said to get your fine ass down for breakfast,” he said.

“Have they told you what’s happening with us?”

Wilder frowned. “Is there something happening with us?”

I grinned. “They haven’t told you shit. We’re going to take over Briarwood. Aaron’s staying here because Ethan thinks you’ll corrupt his innocent boy with your Hudson ways. Honor and Arya are coming with us.”

Wilder turned away, and adjusted himself in his pants. “Fuck me. Gage agreed to that shit?”

“I’ll tell you everything later. I need to put some clothes on and get rid of this morning wood you left me with,” I said and got to my feet.

Wilder’s laugh was loud, sounding more like something resembling a panda in distress. “Seems like I wasn’t the only one crying into my pillow.”

“Get the fuck out.”

“Before you go to your happy place, why did the banana go out with the prune?”

“I don’t know, Wilder.”

“Because it couldn’t find a date.” Wilder sniggered as he closed the door behind him and I shook my head, a smile appearing on my face.

When I had showered, brushed my teeth, and gotten dressed, I headed down to the formal dining room, knowing that everyone would be gathered for breakfast. I hadn’t been home in months and I knew my mother’s fingers would itch to cut my long hair.

“ … I won’t be a bad influence, Ethan, I’ll teach Aaron all about safe sex and the right hole to use.”

“Fuck me,” Cooper said, and lowered his head to the table. “I fucking hate you, Hudson.”

“Don’t pretend like you didn’t just bust a nut at that comment. I remember that day fondly. You were screaming like a little bitch,” Hudson said.

“There’s something wrong with all three of you,” Ethan said as he glared at Wilder. “And you aren’t teaching my son anything.”

“Ethan … I’m sure Aaron knows enough,” Dominic said, and I grinned.

“I’m sitting right here,” Aaron said and smirked. “I wouldn’t say I know enough, I mean, I know a lot, but how much is really enough?”

Ethan shook his head and Hudson threw an arm around Aaron’s shoulders. “I’ll take you out one night.”

“No!” It was a chorus of everyone else in the dining room and Hudson laughed loudly, not in the least offended.

“Good morning,” I said, and headed to where my mother was seated. I kissed her on the cheek and hugged her tightly.

“I’m glad you’re home, Saint, though I hear you’ll be leaving again in a few weeks.”

“It’s what Father wants.”

My mother, Rafaella, gave my father a not so subtle glare and I grinned. My father seemed unfazed, like only he could and chuckled. “I’m also cutting your hair before you set foot out of this house.”

“Of course, Mother.”

The voices quieted down, and Dominic said grace before everyone started dishing up for themselves. Dominic smirked at me and I closed my eyes. “You should tell your mother all about your adventures at Brown, since the fear of a pregnant girl had you pissing your pants the entire way home.”

“I was not pissing my pants,” I said. Rafaella’s gaze bore a hole in the side of my face, but I kept my eyes on my father.

“Perhaps your father has an old NDA lying around from his whoring days,” Rafaella said, not missing a beat.

Hudson’s fist slammed into the table a few times, his laughter growing louder. “And that is why you’ll always be the only woman I truly love.”

“Fuck off, Hudson.”

I looked my father in the eye. “So … do you?”

“You can fuck right off, too,” Dominic said. Rafaella smiled sweetly at him and his eyes softened.

“Guess Dominic will show you his dominant side a bit later,” Hudson murmured with a grin.

“Or he’ll show it to you,” Cooper said.

“Or I’ll show you mine.”

“Can we please not,” Ethan said with a sigh.

“It’s a mystery how I managed to turn out so normal,” Wilder said. Everyone erupted into loud laughter. It was clear who his biological father was. Bishop Wilde-McClaren had his father’s russet colored hair and wild eyes, but Cooper’s influence was strong as well. Wilder had a sharp wit and he really didn’t care what anyone thought of him.

“You just need to get laid, SV, it’s been 3 weeks,” Wilder said.“Yeah, probably.” I wasn’t going to argue, perhaps he was right. I had work to do and not a lot of time to cast my net. Nothing was going to stop me from asserting my dominance over the people in this county. Briarwood was mine.My phone buzzed in my hand and Wilder sniggered. I opened our group chat and grinned.Wilder: Ellie! Get your hand off Nikki’s dick! I need to tell you something!Elian: If this is another stupid joke, I’ll hurt you.Niko: Go for it, wild thing. It’s been a while since we had a good joke from you.Wilder: Yeah, I’m awesome like that. Anyway … why was the plumber so good in bed?Saint: No idea, Wilder.Wilder: Because he knew how to handle a leaky pipe.Saint: You’re getting better at this.Wilder: I’m fucking awesome, just admit it.Niko: Hilarious, Wilder.Elian: Wait … if he’s good with a leaky pipe, does that mean he’s working on his own pipe or someone else’s pipe, because if it’s someone els

Saint Vittori. He was every young woman’s wet dream. Demetria had seen pictures before the formal dinner. His family was elusive, keeping their lives private, and there wasn’t much she could find out from social media. He was coming to Briarwood and she knew that given half a chance, she’d make sure she ended up with him. It would be the society wedding of the year. They would be a dynamic power couple with her background and his wealth. There wouldn’t be a door that wouldn’t open for them.At first glance, he seemed bored, aloof mostly. He was tall and imposing. She could feel the power radiating off him. She was sure he was just playing it cool.“Mr. Vittori, I’d like to introduce my daughter, Demetria,” her father, Bryce Winthorpe, said.A ghost of a smile was on his lips and when he looked into her eyes, her breath hitched. “Call me Saint, please.”His hand was warm, not clammy or sweaty, just warm. For a moment she wasn’t sure what to say. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.”She was i

The formal dinner required a suit. We’d moved into the new house a week earlier and familiarized ourselves with the campus layout. I wasn’t a student, but I wanted to know where everyone’s classes were, the library, bookstore and so forth. If Honor called and said she was somewhere and needed help, I wanted to know exactly where to go. Classes started on Monday and throughout the week, students had arrived in full force. The dinner was being held in the same building as the registration offices. The large reception room had been turned into something resembling a ballroom with round tables and a bar. We walked inside the room, looking like we owned the place, and heads turned as we headed toward our table.“Good thing I tucked my stiffy away,” Wilder said, under his breath. I wanted to laugh, but I kept myself composed. “Tomorrow you can let little McClaren out to play.” Arya’s comment had me choking back a laugh but Wilder snorted loudly before coughing to hide it.The dean smiled

Three months laterI walked into the bar and looked around. The smell of beer, sweat and sex hung in the air, altogether not an unpleasant smell for a bar. The men all wore jeans, T-shirts, and the trademark leather cuts over it. Badges and ranks revealed some of the members to me and I didn’t feel too out of place with my darkwash jeans and the plain, fitted long-sleeved shirt I was wearing. My boots were unscuffed and the watch on my wrist screamed money, maybe the arrogance in my eyes did too.The man I was looking for was seated at the bar and our eyes met in the mirror. His gaze held amusement and I knew he wasn’t going to make this easy for me. The bartender had already given me a look that said, ‘Are you sure you’re in the right fucking place?’I sat down on the barstool, keeping one chair open between me and the large man. I could feel eyes on me, people sizing me up as a spoiled rich kid and thinking I was easy pickings. It made me grin as the bartender headed toward me.“Wha

I was mid-thrust when my phone buzzed on the bed next to me. I gripped it in my hand and shifted back on my heels and pulled out. I motioned for Lacey to turn around and I pushed back inside her as she lifted her ass in the air.“Yes,” I answered, keeping one hand on her hip.“Did you know that Briarwood University has a female volleyball team?”“Fuck, Wilder. My phone’s on ‘do not disturb’. That means you only call when it’s an emergency.”“This is an emergency, SV. A volleyball team. I’m sending you pics.”Lacey moaned and thrusted back against me. She whimpered when I thrust hard into her and Wilder stopped talking on the other end. She moaned again and Wilder let out a shuddering breath.“Are you getting your dick sucked right now?”“No,” I said. She was clenching me with her pussy muscles, her walls fluttering around me. “I’m letting off some steam.”“Ah, mid-fuck, gotcha, SV. But while I have you … why don’t cows ever have money?”I huffed out a laugh as Lacey’s orgasm ripped th

I was sitting behind my desk in my bedroom a week later when Wilder flung my door open and draped himself over my bed. His head was hanging off one side, making him look at me upside down. “You remain a beautiful man, Saint, no matter which angle I observe you from.”I snorted. “Are you drunk already?”“Sadly, no,” he said.“What’s going through that demented head of yours?”Wilder sighed and shifted to his stomach, resting his head on his hands. “Are they giving us complete freedom in Briarwood?”“From what Dominic said, I believe so.”“Are you looking at houses with basements?”I chuckled. “Yes. What if we need space for storage?”“Storage. I like that,” Wilder said, and huffed out a laugh. “Well, I’m just thinking if we’re going there to make our own mark on the world, we don’t need any interference from them. It won’t work if they stick their noses into our business.”“Then I’ll make that a stipulation when we have further discussions. From what Dominic said, our fathers all think
