CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY ONE.

EMILY’S POV.

I took a deep long breath before walking into Alex’s apartment, the room felt empty and void without his presence. Who would have known that I would fall in love with the patient whom I despised initially would turn out to be my best friend and lover and just when I thought I would finally get the happy ending I so desired, death took him away from me. I walked into his room sniffing in his remaining scent that lingers in the room. It was a warm comforting feeling.

I packed the rest of my stuff, which was still in his house into my bag, I went into his bedroom and the memories of Alex’s laughing came flooding back, I miss him so dearly. curled up on his bed, clutching his pillow, tears streaming down my face as I thought about all the good things we would have been doing now.

I must have fallen asleep because I got up from the bed and discovered that the day was getting dark, there was no need to stay here any longer than necessary, this was my final goodbye
