Finding Lisa

The sharp pain in his heart warned Ruben that something was wrong. He closed his eyes and probed through the mental link to reach his mate.....nothing. He could not sense her. She wasn't dead, but she was in danger.

He almost dashed out of the airport, and called Keith, “where is Lisa?” He growled.

“We.....we lost her….,” Keith whimpered from the other side. Ruben struggled to hold in his wolf as it scrambled to tear out of his body. He didn't have to speak anything, his chauffeur drove like mad.

The mood was already tense in the estate when Ruben walked in. His Betas stood in line, cowering under his golden gaze.

“Tell me everything that happened,” Ruben stood straight and crossed his arms over his broad chest.

Keith gulped and began to tell everything. “We were keeping an eye on her as you suggested, then I got a call from tracker Paul that her family left together in a car for somewhere.
