“We are going to pay the debt,” Jacob said.

“How? And where are you taking me?” Lisa asked surprised. She studied his face, for the first time he looked fearful. Her mom didn't say anything, just continued to cry.

“I have made a deal with them that we'll all work for them. They would give us some jobs, and we'll pay them back.” Jacob explained.

“Really? You will work? “ She couldn't keep away the sarcasm from her voice. "But why do you want me to go with you?”

“They want us to sign papers, some lawyer shit,” he fumbled.
