Her unconscious body lay on my arms, her hair touching the ground. I groaned as I glared at her face. This girl was a whirlwind of trouble, and I could feel it in my bones. I wondered if there was anything else that pretty mouth could do except curse.

Picking her light body from the floor, I exited the club. My men were outside waiting for me. I pushed her limp body into the car and sat beside her supporting her upper body.

And as the car moved, I stared into her face, tracing every inch with my eyes. She was a beauty looking so innocent with her mouth shut. I thought I saw her brows flicker, and she moaned in her sleep, her countenance changing with the pain. Hands went to her head as her eyes fluttered open.

"Stay still," I ordered. Knowing better now, she did as she was told. But something told me it wasn't going to last.

She muttered something inaudible, then closed her eyes again.
