SJ closed the door to his and Elli’s room after she was finally able to sleep from the sleeping pill, he gave her. As what he had feared, Elli didn’t take the news well when his parents finally told them everything. They brought along with them a box that contains journals from her mom and Michael Porter.
To their surprised, Jackson Kincaid also came upon his insistence.
“I’m not old enough to be senile!” He scolded them dryly. “I should be here because I’m the one who knows everything!”
The pictures of Elli during her 1st to 3rd birthday are also included that shows the entire frame of Elliot Grande. The one that SJ had seen before on her album, now has the photo of him carrying Elli, who was also bending over to help blow the candle.

Elli opened her eyes and adjusted her eyesight to the dimness of her and SJ’s room. She turned her body towards the center of the bed and found SJ’s side empty. With only the light from the lamp on the table, SJ turned away from looking out through the window in his study and sat back on the chair behind his desk and placed his glass of whiskey down.
