SARIAN'S POV

Slowly, I opened my eyelids. I groaned and closed them back almost immediately because of the intensity of the light.

After a few more minutes, I opened them again, and it wasn't a familiar room. It smelt different.

Everything looked so real. Was I dead? Didn't anyone at the party save me? What was going on?

I pinched myself and hissed in pain. I wasn't dreaming, nor was I dead. I was actually alive and in a strange room.
