Natalia Morozova
Before I could reach where Mikhail and his guards were, the guards were shot they dropped to the ground almost instantly one clutching his chest, the other collapsing to the wet pavement with a muffled gasp, the man who shot the guards was using a silent gun, of course they are going to be using that, so they won't grab peoples attention. Mikhail didn’t even flinch he was looking at his guards that were on the floor his head slightly tilted, he whispered something before he looked up at the armed men. I stopped walking when I saw one of the car doors open from between the armed men, a familiar figure emerged. It was the Italian. He stopped right in front of Mikhail and he straightened his suit jacket like this was nothing more than a casual meeting, his mouth curling into a cold smirk. “You made a mistake Pakhan” he said his accent thicker now and sharper “Coming here alone was a big mistake” Mikhails grey eyes flickered with something I couldn't understand, he tilted his head to the side again looking directly into the Italian's eyes “You think I am alone?” The Italian released a slow mocking laugh throwing his head back a little “Your men are dead Mikhail Volkov, and tonight so are you" He raised his jacket revealing a gun before he slipped his hand into the jacket, and my pulse quickened he was going to pull out a gun. I didn’t think, I didn’t weigh the consequences, I removed my gun as I stepped out from the shadows at the mouth of the alley, I aimed at the man closest to me, and pulled the trigger. I shouldn't be doing this, I shouldn't even be here, my task was to eavesdrop on his conversation in the restaurant, and gather some information, although I didn't manage to get enough information I shouldn't have followed him, I should have sticked to the task. But again Mikhail needs to stay alive, no matter what, I didn't have a silent gun, so the shot echoed in the air, the man I shot collapsed on the floor, blood rolled down from his chest, staining the wet pavement. All the guards and the Italian's attention turned to me but Mikhail.... The moment my bullet hit the guard Mikhail moved fast like a predator, he quickly lunged for the Italian, his hands grabbing the wrist of the Italian hand which was holding the gun. The Italian tried to step back but before he could Mikhail had already grabbed the gun sending him flying back. Two of the men turned their fire on me, I dropped to the ground missing the shots, I rolled down to the other side of the alley holding my gun tightly, I know they are going to come forward and that's when I will attack. A gun was fired once... Then twice and that was it I rushed out afraid Mikhail might have been the one who was shot, My return fire was quick I shot one down, then the other, who stumbled back with a cry. To my surprise Mikhail wasn't the one who was shot, instead three men were on the floor with him standing in the middle holding the Italian at a gun point, the Italian's hands were trembling as she kept whispering something to Mikhail. "Drop the gun" one of the guards ordered, Mikhail didn't even look at him, he just spun his gun a little and fired, the bullet hit the head of the guard and he collapsed with a loud thud. "Shit" I cursed under my breath wishing I had a camera here so I took evidence of him killing them, this place is an alley and it's so dark, so obviously it doesn't have a CCTV camera. Wait... Even if I did have a camera I can't send him to jail, cause it's self defense, one of the guards turned to me and started firing, I aimed for his leg and fired, he fell to the ground holding his leg as he cried. Mikhail spun and drove his elbow into another guards jaw so hard that the sound of bone cracking echoed in the alley, the guard went stumbling back before Mikhail aimed for his chest and fired. I rushed towards Mikhail when I saw two men about to attack him from behind, I raised my gun and shot one in the back, and the other on the leg, My aim isn't to kill them, it's just to stop them. One guard rushed towards me, I tried shooting him but I was out of bullet, I cursed stumbling back a bit, the guard smirked throwing his gun to the floor and clenching his hands to a fist. My lips curved up to a smirk "that's your biggest mistake... Underestimating me" he lunged at me, but I didn't move I stood there waiting for him to be close enough. Before his fist could land on my face I kicked him hard on the leg, and twisted his hand spinning him and pinning him against the wall, I hit him hard on his neck knocking him out. I sighed turning my breathing was ragged, my heart hammering in my ears, I looked at Mikhail who was standing there alone, my eyes darted to where the Italian was standing, but he was laying on the ground... Dead. One of the witnesses for the case is dead, I bit my lower lip angrily clenching my hands into a fist. Mikhail turned looking at me,and I turned immediately to leave, my heart pounding,I have to get out of here, I had to get out before he saw my face before he.... I felt a sharp pain in my back, and suddenly my vision was turning blurry and it feels like the world was spinning, I tried to continue walking but the force spun me halfway around before my knees gave out. I hit the pavement with a loud thud, another pain exploding throughout my body. Before my vision could completely went black I heard Mikhail’s voice barked an order in Russian, I couldn't understand what he said the only thing I could think of was getting out of here, but before I could even try moving my vision completely went black.Natalia Morozova "No no what the fuck is this?" I asked again not wanting to believe my thoughts, Mikhail sat down on the bed looking at me."We are married now Alina sokolov" he said as if he just made the most casual announcement ever, no this can't happen I didn't sign this document how can I be married to him."I didn't sign this.. I don't even know how I ended up here... I was unconscious till now" my voice kept cracking as I spoke, my heart was beating loud in my ears.If he knew who I was why did he marry me? And why is he still addressing me as Alina Sokolov... Maybe he still doesn't know my real identity.Mikhail was quiet, so I tried to stand up and leave, but immediately I stood up I growled in pain before I collapsed back on the bed again wincing in pain."As I said I have decided to return the favor Alina, I married you to keep you safe after what happened you are certainly going to be my enemies target" Mikhail explained standing up.I couldn't even speak I was just loo
Natalia MorozovaThe first thing I felt was warmth, not the cold night air, not the rough asphalt of the pavement, no not that. This was… soft and smooth it feels like I am sinking into a cloud.I moved a bit sinking more into the softness, i slowly opened my eyes looking up to a ceiling I didn’t recognize...a pale cream dome edged with ornate gold molding, it had a big luxury chandelier which was lightning the morning light in soft shades across the walls.Where I am? I slowly turned my head, looking around the room trying to understand where I was, the room was massive, the kind of massive you only saw in glossy magazines. It had large floor to ceiling windows which had beautiful long black curtains with some touches of gold on it, almost everything in the room was either black or gold or a mixture of gold, the furnitures were obviously those expensive luxurious ones you see in magazines. This place obviously isn't a hotel. It's a private residence.I pushed myself up, knowing I shou

Natalia MorozovaMy heart skipped a beat when he asked “What’s your name devuskha?”My pulse quickened, my breath hitched I swallowed hard forcing my smile to remain polite and practiced, I have been practicing this smile for three days so I am quite good at making it look genuine.I know he is testing me he might already be suspecting me, and me acting nervously or not reply will only confirm his suspicion, if I act scared that means I know who he is.“Alina” I replied smoothly, making it sound as believable as possible “Alina Sokolov”The corner of his mouth twitched, his eyes were still on me and it feels like they are piercing holes through my skull, he was quite for a while “Alina,” he repeated, like he was tasting the name he lips curved into a dangerous smirk sending chills down my spine “Don’t let me keep you from your work” he whispered.“Of course sir, if you need anything don't hesitate to call for me” I muttered still smiling. Before he could respond I turned and started
Natalia Morozova The clink of expensive crystal glasses and the hum of low conversations filled the air, but I heard none of it, i don't care about any of that, my focus was only on the man sitting at table seven.Mikhail Volkov the Bratva pakhan I have been tracking for two months, and finally today I have the chance to get close to him... Not that close but close enough to gather some information. Mikhail is tall broad, and even from afar his presence alone is radiating danger.I adjusted the black apron tied around my waist, taking in a deep breath and forcing my grip to relax on the silver tray even though my hands were trembling... Not with fear but with anger. My cover tonight was simple, i was wearing a shoulder length blonde wig, with some faint freckles painted across my nose, and a cheap vanilla perfume. That way no one would guess that under the polyester waitress uniform and plastered on smile was Detective Natalia Morozova, from the federal undercover. But here, I wasn’t
