Charlotte's POV

I was so confused and badgered that my lips remained partly open and my mind was spinning in bewilderness.

I tried to control my swirling but I guess it was impossible. I was about to speak but my voice betrayed me and it was like there was a lump in my throat.

“Charlotte, you shouldn't be surprised about how we know too much about you,” Matilda's gentle tone broke through the silence.

She puts her hand up to pull the hair off my face. “Join us and let's heal our broken hearts together,” her voice was calm and her gaze steady.

“Heal our broken hearts together? What do you mean by that? I'm lost here,” I demanded in a shrill voice.

Without hesitation, Remi raised skeptical brows. “Yes!” She exclaimed.

I tried to catch some breath as a mixed feelings surgery down me. My brain was in tumult as I tried to comprehend what I was hearing but I couldn't place any meaning to it.
