I knew she was always meant to be mine, but it didn’t click until I saw her shift.
This fucking woman was perfection personified, the Goddess made her to be mine in every way! Her coat was the same colour of obsidian as mine was, although my size outweighs hers, I watched her as she hunted the buck in front of us, her frame was lithe and graceful, every inch of the dancer that she was.
I allowed her to lead the hunt, watching her moves from a distance and growling softly in approval. When she caught it and took it down, cracking its neck with the twist of her head, pride swelled in my chest. She looked up at me, nudging the dead animal with her nose in a signal that she wanted me to eat first.
I’m the Alpha, so this was normal for me, but I shook my head and gestured for her to eat first. The surprise and confusion in her eyes worried me a bit, but I nudged the buck with my nose again and she understood what I meant.
