Kaleb read thoroughly through the information about the missing woman that his friend had sent him. Even his friend sent photos of her to him.

Katherine was a beautiful petite woman. Long red hair that went down her back, blue eyes that are brighter than the ocean, and in one of the pictures, she was smiling so wide that it showed off her dimples. Why would this beautiful woman run away from her fiance?

He bit his lip, setting his phone down on the dashboard of his 2021 tesla. There was a feeling in his gut, that is telling him that Katie needs saving. And by saving, he means from her fiance. There was a reason why she was on the run, especially with nothing in hand.

"Kal, bud. Thank you again for searching for her, Jacob has been worried sick about her. She has been missing for three days and the fact that she is with child makes the situation much more worse." Kaleb's friend says, leaning against the window of the car with his latte in one hand.

'Always with that pumpkin spice latte.' Kaleb thought to himself, chuckling. He only shook his head.

He sighed, laying his back across the seat with his eyes closed. "It's not a problem, but I have been thinking about something. Why would she run away from her own fiance? That still makes no sense. What woman would run away from someone she loves, for no reason?''

Brad didn't think about that, all he thought was his bud was searching for his soon to be wife. "Not sure man, maybe her hormones from the baby? Breakdown? Mental?''

Kaleb eyed his friend with a sharp look, shaking his head. "That still makes no sense. There is a reason for everything, and Katie must have a reason to run away. It seems like something happened to cause her to make this rational decision."

"Only one way to find out, is to find her and question everything about what's going on and what happened." Brad took a sip of his warm beverage and backed away a little. "Let me know anything on your drive.''

Kaleb breathed deeply, as he drove down the narrow street. Where could she be? This town isn't very big, but that does not mean a dang thing. Katie could be in this town, she could not be.

It was 4:35 P.M. Kaleb have been driving for the last two hours. He went into stores, people's home, even went to Katie's job. No luck. No body has seen or heard from her in the last three days.

''Katie has not been to work in three days. I have tried calling and messaging her, but no answer. I have been worried sick about her. Ever since she met Jacob, she has been quiet....and not the same girl as I have known.'' Angela, a co-worker and somebody who grew up with Katie, says. There was concern in her voice, and when she mentioned Jacob and how Katie had 'changed' when she first met the dude, got Kaleb thinking if he had abused her in any way, shape or form and if that was the reason why the woman ran off.

Kaleb cleared his voice and went back to his questioning. His tone changed from concern to anger. He really hate women abusers. "You mentioned that Mrs. Collins changed when she first met Jacob? Can you enlighten me with more details on what you meant by that?"

The young female, in her early 20's began telling the Navy Seal, that was sitting across from her, about everything that she has noticed. "Every time that she came into work...sometimes she was late coming in, but anyways...she had these bruises across her body. They were dark, and even have cuts across her face. When I ask, what happened...she makes up some sort of excuse like: 'I tripped and fell.' 'Something fell across my face.' Things like that and I never believe it, since this happened on a daily base. I don't know what is going...but Kaleb, it's not good."

'Jacob was abusing a pregnant woman? This makes much sense and now I have too save her before the idiot hurts her and the unborn child.' Kaleb thought, clenching his fist and wanting to kill the dude. But he had self control, Katie was more important at the moment.

"Thank you, Mrs Simmons for your time and for helping me with this situation. Rest assure, Katie will be found safely." And with that Kaleb walked out of the house and headed to his car.

Now all he has to do is figure out where Katie is hiding and take her into safety.

He would do anything in his power to protect that woman and the unborn baby that she is carrying.

And if he ever came across Jacob...he don't know if he would hurt the sorry idiot or kill him.

Who knows, he may do both.

All he wants to do...is to find Katie and get her to safety. And he would find her, even if it takes day and night...he will find Katie.
