I sat alone in the room, my gaze wandering over the familiar interior, but my mind was elsewhere. To be honest, I was thinking of Melissa, my daughter and I wished that I could see her .

The truth was that I was pained about the whole thing that happened with her, I was annoyed, I never believed that Magnus would do that. To me, he had done the worst thing a human could do.
