Synopsis
Xenia has always tried to be the perfect daughter. All her life, she's been good, non rebellious, obedient. Even when her parents kept treating her like an outcast over her sister because she was born wolfless. Never for once did she deviate from being the good little daughter. UNTIL her own parents sold her off to an Alpha who was crippled. That was when she realized that being good surely wouldn't pay her and she's ready to do anything she can - to get out of this stupid arrangement. Even if it means paying a stranger she met in a dirty bar to take her virginity. Isn't it a taboo for the Alpha to marry a non virgin? For all it's worth, she taught she definitely won. But then her father introduces the Alpha in a wheel chair and when she turns ready to blurt out that she's no virgin - SHOCK FROZE HER FEET TO THE FLOOR. Because sitting in that wheel chair was the same man who she had spent the night before with.

「結婚しよう？」
そんな誘い方でこんな言葉を口にするあなたが嫌い。
それでも私は、この提案を拒むことができない。
「古都、俺のこと好きだろ？」
必死に紡ぐ否定の言葉さえ、飲み込むこのキスに抗えない自分が一番嫌い。
小さいころからずっとそばにいるあなたは、私にとって一番遠い雲の上の人。

「なんとおっしゃいましたか？」
生まれ持ったダークブラウンのきれいな髪は、ゆるくカールされていて、それを無造作ながらも計算し尽くしてセットしていた。髪と同じ色をした、吸い込まれそうなアーモンド色のキリッとした二重の瞳が、楽しそうに私を見つめている
「だから、結婚しようって」
ここは旧財閥である大友グループの屋敷。
そんなことを思いながらも、やはり聞き間違いではないと感じ、私は優雅に紅茶を飲むその人を改めて見た。
「誰が誰とでしょうか？」
表情を変えることなく、紅茶に視線を向けたまま告げられたその言葉に、私は大きくため息をついた。
目の前のお坊ちゃま――大友秋久は、由緒正しい家柄に生まれ、頭脳だけでなく、高い身長と見事な容姿まで持ち合わせている。
昔からプライベートも派手で、隣にはモデルや女優など、数多くの女性が付き添っていた。
「申し訳ありませんが、私たちって、結婚するような間柄でしたか？」
その言葉に唖然とし、私はただ彼を睨みつけたい衝動に駆られたが、実際にはできなかった。
私は大原古都、今年二十七歳。私の家は代々、この大友家に仕えてきた。
秋久とは違い、私は至って平凡な人間だ。肩より少し長いくせ毛の髪は、セットに時間がかかるため、いつも一つに結んでいる。
身長は一六一センチ。細くも太くもない体形で、すべてにおいて秋久の横に立つような人間ではない。
屋敷と同じ敷地に我が家があったこと、そして多忙な秋久の両親に代わり、私の母が二人と、さらに秋久の弟・正久を育てる時間も多かったため、小さいころはまるで兄弟のように過ごしてきた。
そんなことを知らずに育ったが、両親ですら秋久たちが優先で、私はいつも後回しだった。
そんなことすら疑問に思うことなく育ってきたが、成長するにつれて現実が見えてくるようになった。
そしてそのころようやく、自分と秋久とがまったく違う世界に生きていることを悟った。
父に言われるまま大学に進学し、資格を取り、父の後を継ぐべく一緒に仕事を始めてから、もう数年が過ぎた。
今日も何も変わることなく仕事をしていた。
