Tharros Castle— Morning:

Nyxoria woke up feeling refreshed, memories of her conversation with Ora replaying in her mind. Their deal, the promise of knowing the truth about who she is, made her smile. She turned her head, noticing that Tharros was still sleeping beside her.

Carefully, she slipped out of bed, making her way to the conjoined bathroom. The air smelled faintly of roses, one of the servants must have prepared her bath. She added a handful of rose petals to the hot water before sinking in, letting the warmth soothe her body.

Nearly two hours later, she stepped out of the bathroom, completely naked, steam still clinging to her wet skin. Apart from Tharros' lingering scent in the room, she knew they were alone.

When she came out she saw that Tharros was up and his back was turned to her.
